Its part one of our conversation with Wes Burden of Apex Cycle Shop in Canton, Georgia. To say the greater Atlanta region and much of Georgia is an airhead hot bed may be an understatement so it’s fitting to spend some time with Wes and learn about his work with airheads in the Peach State.

This week a visit with Duck Koch, president of the Airheads Beemer Club here in the USA. Earlier this year the club underwent a structural change that caused some cylinders to get hot and maybe overheat— so to speak. Of course we’ll chat with Duck about that but also and maybe more importantly, we’ll discuss what clubs like the ABC mean to the lasting legacy and popularity of the 247 airhead.
Learn more about the club here----https://www.airheads.org/

On the program this week, Chuck Sherman who is an engineer by trade and falls into what maybe called the “professional hobbyist” category when it comes to airheads. I came across Chuck on ADV where he posts as "wallaman" and was intrigued by his posts on both Krauser 4V heads and the Krauser MKM 1000 motorcycle. And while Chuck will shy away from being called an “expert” on Krauser history and product development , safe to say that you’ll find this a VERY informative episode on all things Krauser performance.
William Plam is back with another Tech Talk segment on on regular maintenance practices for your 247.

This week part one of a two part chat with George Thomas at Air Support BMW in Kitchener, Ontario. Air Support BMW is the largest full service shop in Canada exclusively servicing vintage BMW motorcycles. George came to this work—as an airhead mechanic— a bit later in his career path. He’s had a very interesting and varied career prior to opening Air Support. Learn more about George and his shop airsupportbmw.com or George as an instagram feed he updates frequently—the good, bad and ugly of things that happen in the shop–so you might want to put some eyes on that, as well.
