Starting to spiral because this stretch of Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas (chs 40ā49) said āoh you thought we were pacing ourselves?ā and then chose violence instead.
Weāve got:
* Schemes on schemes on SCHEMES.
* Emotional damage being served family-style.
* War strategy meetings that somehow hurt more than the actual battles.
* And our queen carrying the weight of the entire world like itās just another Tuesday.
The tension? Unbearable.The reunions? Not nearly enough.The looming doom? Practically a main character at this point.
