  • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Brittany Gillespie, a NICU nurse with a bachelors in healthcare studies and bachelors in nursing. She started competing in 2018 was the 2021 NPC Nationals Overall Winner where she earned her Pro Card. As a newer competitor, she still feels like she is finding her groove on stage. She talks about dealing with other people’s expectations in the process of getting her Pro Card and how she has approached her season since then. Brittany tells us how she handled traveling between shows and the emotions she felt with that.

    As a NICU nurse, Brittany works overtime and night shift most of prep, she she really had to have her routine down to a science. She talks about the struggles she has working in a hospital and the food that people bring in to share.

  • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Angeles Burke, lifestyle and wellness consultant and VIP competitive coach and transformation coach for Bombshell Fitness. Angeles started competing in 2011 and earned her Pro status in 2013. She has competed in over 25 shows! In 2021, she returned to the stage for the first time since 2016! She talks about how the standards have changed in the bikini division since she first started competing and how she planned to bring a better package than she did in 2016. Angeles shares the red flags she noticed that told her it was time to take a break from the stage. Even though she wasn’t competing, she staying in the sport as a coach.

  • Today I speak with Australian IFBB Pro Stephanie Hing. She recently spent 7 years living and working in Los Angeles, but is now back at home in Sydney, Australia. She competed in 2 regional and 3 National shows before getting her pro card in 2020. She works full time as a Senior Product designer. Stephanie talks about the mental barriers she experienced during her first and only national season when she had to put on 4 pounds after previously coming in too lean.

    After earning her pro card, she realized that she did not have a proper cycle after coming off birth control. After countless doctors visits, tests and money spent on all kinds of supplements, she was diagnosed with Hypothalamic Amenorrhea. It took her a year and a half to get her cycle back.

    Stephanie shares her journey through this and what it has taught her about herself! You don’t want to miss this interview!

  • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Lynsie Hice who turned Pro in July 2021 after competing in 7 Regional shows and 3 National shows. She lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas and is a currently the lead expeditor for all NPC Oklahoma bodybuilding shows. Alongside her partner, she coaches other women and men to reach their goals of stepping on the bodybuilding stage. She is full time fitness professional and her specialty is in posing and presentation. Lynsie talks about her struggles with scoliosis and how back pain has affected her training.   • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Taryn Flanagan, a 27-year-old from Canada who won her Pro card in 2020 at the Amateur Olympia. She has been competing since 2018 and is the posing coach for Team Elite Physique and her company, Pose with a Pro. Taryn tells us about turning Pro and the changes she wants to make to her physique to compete in the Pro League. We talk about how food affects how you feel and the changes that can be made to help you feel your best. After a very long 2020 season, Taryn shares her struggles with her reverse and having to quarantine. And then the aftermath of that season and how it affected her confidence in the gym. Taryn talks about the importance of setting intentions for each season of bodybuilding and how that sets you up for long term success.   • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Karen Wall. She’s 42 years old and currently live in Victoria, BC, Canada with her partner in everything, Andrew Kersten. Who is also a bodybuilder, coach and business owner! She started competing in 2019 and turned Pro in 2021 at the Natural Canada Pro Qualifier. She then placed 4th in her Pro debut at the Toronto Pro Supershow in December 2021 and has since won two Masters Pro shows! She was a Graphic Designer/Art Director for 20 years and made the switch to full time bodybuilding athlete, coach and business owner last year. She is mom to her 18 year old daughter Dakoda. Karen is a big believer in choosing light and love in life over fear and darkness, and takes this attitude as she works towards qualifying for the Olympia stage.

  • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Jordan Brannon. She graduated from University of South Florida in 2014 with her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science. There she met her husband Drew. After graduation, they opened up their own gym called Pinellas Ultimate Strength House in Largo, Florida. Drew and Jordan were introduced to the bodybuilding world through a mutual friend. Jordan prepped for her first show in 2019 and made her debut at THE KLASH. From there, she was hooked. She just turned Pro at the 2022 Junior USA. Recently, Jordan has become a prep and lifestyle coach for Fit Body Fusion.

    Both of my parents have substance abuse issues and mental health disorders. Both have addiction issues and her mother has schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Until Jordan found competing, her life revolved around them and their issues. Competing forced her to take care of herself and really set that boundary to allow her freedom to live her own life in the most healthy way possible.

  • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Huong Mai, a dental hygienist and a single mom of two young kids. She recently developed an interest in bikini competition after being under Team Atlas' guidance for lifestyle coaching. She’s always used exercise as an outlet since her husband passed away 7 years ago. This is her first year as a competitor and she’s been loving this journey so far! Although, she recently earned her IFBB pro card, she still feel like an amateur trying to learn about this sport!

  • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Jackie Cheney, AKA “Jackie Legs”. She has competed for about 7 years total, but started really pushing it the last 2 years. She did 5 national shows and placed top 2 three times before she got my pro card at Universe in 2021. She went on to her pro debut and got 6th place, and but then went to Mile High and got last callouts, which now fuels her to bring her very best. She finds confidence after pushing through the hard moments and being able to find herself and count on herself.   • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Meg DGinto, a 24-year-old online lifestyle coach who also competes for fun! She has always been active and in sports growing up so having fitness as a huge aspect of her life. She thrives on helping people find that balance between enjoying life and still reaching their goals. She credits bodybuilding for helping her build a positive relationship with fitness and food in general. She turned Pro at her first National show and her fourth show ever. She started competing in 2019 and took 2 years off to build her physique, which she credits to turning Pro!

    Meg wants to shake the stigma that bodybuilding always causes harm to someone’s relationship with food and fitness. She wants to help people understand that food is fuel and you need to food to grow. Meg has such a positive outlook on bodybuilding. You don’t want to miss the interview!

  • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Nicole Tan, who is from Australia but was born in Singapore. She works as a personal trainer and online coach. She competed in 11 shows before turning pro at the Arnold classic in 2019. She was set to do her pro debut in 2020 but it was cancelled a week out. After that, she tried many times to prep and compete but shows kept getting cancelled and the Australian borders were shut. Finally this year, she got to make her pro debut at the Australia Pro show and headed to USA to start her pro journey!

    She believes that mindset plays a huge role in competitive success and want so share that with other competitors. She has worked hard to develop a healthy relationship with food and talks about what has helped her along the way. So many people will be able to relate to Nicole’s story.   • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Jessica Miller. Born and raised in Palm Harbor, Florida, she is a fit mom of 2 little princesses. She started competing in 2016 and earned her Pro card at the 2021 Jr. USA Championships. She loves helping people reach their health & fitness goals and aims to get to the Olympia stage one day. Jessica talks about her childhood and how her father passed away from cancer, which eventually lead her to her fitness journey and bodybuilding.   • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Erin Dennis, who was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and went to Ohio State for Mechanical Engineering. She then moved to North Carolina to work for Goodyear, where she design tires. She started competing in 2018 and turned Pro at the 2019 National Championships. She has since competed in 7 IFBB Pro shows. Erin openly talks about her experiences changes coaches and how she approaches growth between shows. She believes that anybody can pursue fitness regardless of circumstance. She has worked a full time, demanding job ever since she got into body building and some days wakes up at 3am to get to the gym before work for cardio.

  • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Ashley Duncan. She is a nurse, adjunct college nursing instructor, online competition/lifestyle coach, in-person personal trainer. She has worked with high school athletics and had 5 daughters between her and her husband. She is currently an athlete under Team Atlas.   • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Janean Priest, a 60 years old who was introduced to bodybuilding 3 1/2 years ago! She is a RN, BSN and had 3 beautiful and amazing children, 2 of them are twins. She has been married for 35 years. Before she found bodybuilding, she was a long distance runner and never stepped foot into a gym. She met her coach’s wife and owner of the gym she trains at a health fair who persuaded her to come check out the gym. There are only seven 60 year old IFBB pros in the US, which makes Jenean want to be an inspiration to those who feel being healthy is not obtainable. She fell into an eating disorder her senior year of high school that was accelerated when her mother had terminal cancer.

She ran track and played basketball in high school but was always intimidated by lifting weights at the gym because she felt like she didn’t know what she was doing. When she started to put on muscle and get leaner, she eventually found her way to competing after leaving a bad relationship.   • Today I speak with IFBB Pro Milene Lingiardi, a full time civil engineer who works with renewable energy and recently had her pro debut at Golden State Pro in Sacramento, CA. Originally from Brazil, she started lifting in her first year of college in 2009, and went into her first bodybuilding competition in the end of 2019. She started following a plant-based diet in January of 2021 after watching the documentary The Game Changers and have not looked back since then.

    Milene talks about using both positive and negative experiences as learning opportunities and how that has helped her all through life.   • Today I speak with Isamar Hansen, an IFBB Pro originally from Venezuela. Since she was a little, she always liked to strive for bringing her best at everything she committed to do, big or small.
