Welcome back to Crimeatorium, the place where crime lives. Today, we dive into a curious and eerie pattern in the world of true crime: why do the middle names ‘Wayne,’ ‘Lee,’ and ‘Ray’ seem to pop up so often in the most chilling criminal cases? Is it coincidence, or could it be something more?

In this bonus episode, we’ll explore two cases that seemed destined to remain mysteries but were ultimately unraveled by forensic breakthroughs.
We begin in Bristol, England, in 1967, with the murder of Louisa Dunne, and then travel to Massachusetts, where the 1978 murders of Theresa Marcoux and Mark Harnish haunted investigators for decades.

The following are the closing arguments, verdict and sentencing from the penalty phase of the trial, where Jacob Cayer opted not to attend. If you listened to the last episode, you’ll recall that he was found guilty of all charges. The prosecution brought in a psychiatrist to evaluate Jacob Cayer for an NGI (Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity). Interestingly, the defense used his testimony to their advantage during the penalty phase, arguing that Cayer was likely suffering from schizophrenia
Although Jacob Cayer decided not to be present for the closing arguments of the penalty phase, he did participate by phone during the disposition hearing, where his sentence was finalized.

In this episode of Crimeatorium, we delve into one of the darkest days in Utah’s history — the Hi-Fi Shop Murders of April 22nd, 1974. Ogden, Utah, with its small-town charm and big-city amenities, was shocked when what seemed like a routine disturbance call to the Ogden City Police turned into a gruesome crime scene. The Hi-Fi Shop, usually a place of business, became a house of horrors, with only two survivors escaping the unimaginable violence.
Join us as we explore the chilling details of the crime, the investigation, and the horrifying actions that led to the loss of innocent lives. This case remains one of the most shocking and tragic events in Utah’s history.

Please listen to the previous episodes covering this trial, the first upload was on 10/27. Don't miss the closing arguments and verdict!
Christine Lohman Schmitt was a 77 year old wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved Christmas, wine, and Star Trek, but most of all, she loved her family. Christine studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and went to the London School of Economics.
One night in 2021, Christine's life was changed in the most horrific way, when a man and a female accomplice terrorized her first in her car, then in her home.
The following is the trial of Bradley Yohn, who decided to represent himself, and in doing so, made a mockery of the court system.
A month after the attack, Christine, who also went by Tina, lost her life.
The pain, indignity and fear Christine faced is nothing short of shocking, listener discretion is advised.
The next part will be released tomorrow.

In this episode of Crimeatorium, we explore the life and tragic outcome of Suzanne Maria Rossetti, a young woman whose future was cut short by an unsettling encounter. Born on May 3rd, 1954, in Saugus, Massachusetts, Suzanne was the daughter of Peter and Louise Rossetti, known for their hardworking and honest family values. Along with her siblings, Peter Jr. and Donna, Suzanne was recognized for her bright intellect and strong desire to attend college, inspired by the example set by her parents.
Suzanne’s life was full of potential and happiness until one night in 1977, when two men, posing as “good Samaritans,” introduced themselves to her in the parking lot of a local convenience store. This encounter would forever change her life.
