This is my HEAD NOISE episode where you send in your questions and I answer them!
In this episode youâve asked for my advice on these questions.
A friend of mine admitted that she had been having an affair for 10 years. Looking back I think she told me because she was looking for someone to condone her behaviour. Unfortunately for her I did not. Every time I pointed her in the direction of bettering her situation she would come up with an excuse. I donât know what else to do. Is this friendship a lost cause? I'm starting to get feelings for my âSituationshipâ or as Iâve started calling it, my situationshit. I met him 4 years ago when travelling and had a one night thing. We kept in touch here and there over the years. Cut to few years later when we were both single again and started having amazing weekends together whenever travel plans aligned. The thing is, I now live closer to him (the reason I moved is separate to him) and I can feel myself getting proper feelings. What should I do?My partner and I have been together for 4 years and in our early 30s. I really want children but he doesnât/ Weâve been talking about it on and off for 18 months and have been going to therapy about it. Iâm holding on to hope â how long is too long to hold on to that hope.LINKS:

This is my HEAD NOISE episode where you send in your questions and I answer them!
In this episode youâve asked for my advice on these questions.
I'm in my 20s and feel unsure of my direction and purpose. Why do many of us in our 20s experience such feelings of uncertainty? My relationship with my ex-husband has left my in a flight or fight mode. I can feel myself finding myself again and all I crave is peace. I have an amazing new partner who is very patient and understanding HOWEVER because of my previous relationship I learned how to THRIVE during chaos and difficulty and now that my life is settling into a normal and more calm space. Youâd think life is perfect but my partner has started to point out that I start fights for no reason or say mean things for no reason whatsoever. I know Iâm doing it because it was how I survived in the chaos, so how do I thrive now that Iâve found my peace? What are your thoughts on dating when you STILL have feelings for your ex?LINKS:

Let's get into HEAD NOISE where I answer your questions about friendship, work, love, relationships, you name it! If you want your question answered you can email me at [email protected] .
My sister-in-law and I have a complicated relationship. I believe she is abusive toward my brother and has told him that I am the one making things difficult. Is the only way forward to cut my brother, who is my best friend, out of my life completely? Is there another way forward? My boyfriend has been liking provocative photos of other women online, from barely clothed photos to twerking videos. We are in a long distance relationship and I had expressed that I wasnât comfortable doing this, and then he stopped. However I canât get over the fact that he was doing it in the first place. What should I do?Since COVID my boyfriend started smoking w33d everyday, suffered burnout 7 months ago and stopped going to work. Iâm losing my patience with him, have tried to talk to him, and he wants to stop this behaviour but he doesnât. How do I support him while not forgetting about myself. When do I know when enough is enough?LINKS:

Letâs get into HEAD NOISE where I answer your questions about life, love, friendship, and all the fun messy things that make being alive so lit.
1) My partner and I are great, and then every now and then they snap when talking about or learning about my past dating history. My dating history isnât anything wild, and I canât control that Iâve been with other people, so how do I deal with their reaction to the fact that theyâre not my first and only love?
2) My partner has genital herpes, and has been upfront with me about this. We communicated about expectations in our physical relationship, and how I could most be comfortable and feel protected at the same time. We are now a little further into our relationship and he has started saying things like if I want this relationship to continue I need to stop making him feel so bad about having herpes, that I make him feel dirty and ruin his self confidence because of the precautions Iâve put in place during sex to keep myself at less risk of contracting HSV.
3) My therapist says I am anxiously attached from a past trauma. I was wondering if you could talk me through limerence vs love, because my anxiety around dating

Letâs get into HEAD NOISE where I answer your questions about life, love, friendship, and all the fun messy things that make being alive so lit.
My partner isn't toxic, but I donât feel like weâre the right people for each other any more. We can barely communicate properly to each other, he doesnât meet my needs, and I feel like we just donât love each other any more. Am I just stuck in a rut, or should I call it quits?I'm a self-described âhopeless dreamerâ. I grew up admiring Youtubers and content creators and their unconventional lives. I feel like living a conventional life is just not fulfilling me â but is this FOMO? Should I follow my heart and intuition that my life is a bit ordinary and do something out of the box, or am I deluding myself.LINKS:
