I have recorded this set in 2010 before I moved from Lübeck to Hamburg. This was one of my promotional Dj mixes that I have sent to several promoters in Hamburg which has lead into playing on some very nice parties at some wellknown venues in Hamburg. It contains more driving and darker Dnb and Neurofunk tunes than the last "Lost Tapes " mixes, but still with a deeper touch. 100 % Vinylsound as usual for me at that time. This is my entry for the BSE remix competition that took place earlier this year. Unfortunaly I did not win the competition, but I am still satisfied with my work and so I have decided to show you my remix. I have tried to produce a more atmospheric but forward stepping Neurofunk version. I have used all original Audiofiles of BSE`s "Don't you", but added my own drum sound with my MPC Live and a new Bassline with my Bass Station 2. I also have used my Virus TI, Omnisphere, ANA and Massive X for some additional pad- and leadsounds. To be honest i have always misunderstood the vocal in the original, so i have tried to make it a bit clearer in the remix.

I participated in the Eatbrain remix contest last year. Unfortunately I didn't win and I wasn't happy with the mixdown so I remixed the remix again. Enjoy listening!

A few weeks ago i had the honor to contribute a guestmix for "The Greenroom" show on Bassdrive hosted by Chicago based Dj and producer Stunna. I have tried to catch the Bassdrive vibe and decided to mix the more deeper side of Dnb with some of my alltime favorites and some tasty Liquid Dnb tunes, 50 % Vinyl, 50 % Digital.

This is my entry for the Total Science remix contest!
I really enjoyed working with this nice and really well produced sounds! I have put all samples into my MPC Live, added some own Drumsamples and created an additional bassline with the Bass Station 2. I have sent the riff, vocals and pads through my analogue pedal FX board. It's a kind of Techstep version of the original, so it felt right to slow the tune down to 172 Bpm. The riff gets a kind of new swing, which i think fits nice to the new drum groove.
Unfortunately i did not win the remix contest, but it was still interesting and i have my own Total Science remix for my record case, that is enough for me... -
