  • The focus is on understanding the crucial difference between gathering resources and information versus taking tangible action towards personal development. I talk about the idea that despite having access to the same information and resources, the distinction between individuals who experience radical change in their lives and those who remain stagnant lies in the readiness to take action and discipline. I talk about my personal journey of learning, gathering information, and eventually realizing that without action, no real change occurs. The episode invites listeners to reflect on their own lives and consider the actions they might be avoiding or need to take to see genuine personal development.

I talk about the importance of self-awareness, and acceptance and how projecting our own goals, fears, and trauma onto our partners can create unhealthy dynamics within the relationship. • I'm here to share my journey of healing and self-discovery, recounting the significant chapters of my life and how an understanding of trauma and self-work helped me peel back the layers to be more me. Our discussion will centre on the concept of trauma, not as something that happens to us, but as something our bodies remember and hold onto. I share insights from my yoga teacher training and the transformative power of embodied trauma integration.

Like many people, I spent a long time searching for healing outside of myself. I've since learned the incredible wisdom our bodies hold, the innate power to heal, and how it mirrors the healing process of a physical wound. I'll share my thoughts on the tools that can help regulate our nervous system and the necessity of creating a secure environment for our healing journey. The journey into self-healing is one that is vast and deeply personal, but the first steps can be straightforward: listen to your body, and give it the tools it needs to embark on its healing journey. Remember, the power to heal always exists within us, waiting to be harnessed. Let's unveil this power together and embark on a journey of self-awareness and healing.

  • I unpack an uncanny experience where I lost my voice for nine months. I unravel the intriguing tale of how my usually vocal self underwent a dramatic transformation when I suddenly lost my voice and had a husky tone for 9 months. I share some realizations from my recent yoga teacher training about this experience and recount the journey of regaining my voice and relearning to advocate for myself. I draw parallels between my physical voice loss and how I started suppressing my voice in my past relationship. Tune in for my journey that brings forth the power of voice and self-expression.

  • Have you ever considered how the balance of masculine and feminine energies influences your relationships? In an insightful discussion with Ryan Moresby-White, we delve into the power of these energies, and how they shape not just our interactions, but also our personal development. Ryan’s journey from a depressed carpenter to a purpose-driven individual paints a vivid picture of the importance of healing our hurtful pasts and embracing our core energy.

Our conversation explores the dynamics and roles these energies play in relationships. It's not about who’s male or female, but rather about the roles we embody, and the equilibrium we establish. We discuss how masculine energy can offer a safe space for feminine energy to flow, and how an imbalance can lead to the depolarization of these energies in relationships. You'll pick up valuable insights into the three C's and three U's of recognizing when depolarization is happening, and how you and your partner can tackle these issues.

We also delve into the true roles of masculine and feminine energies, shedding light on the bright and dark aspects of these energies, the necessity for men to tap into their heart space, and the value of structure and flow in relationships. You'll hear about the stages of relationships, the three essential needs men have in a relationship, and the importance of finding true freedom within oneself. Ultimately, we emphasize that relationships should never be a means to compensate for our unfulfilled needs. Tune in for this transformative conversation with Ryan and discover how to create a balanced and harmonious relationship connection.

    About Ryan:

Ryan is a 26-year-old Gold Coast local who has gone from a depressed carpenter and business owner in the construction industry to building a 6 figure online business living a purpose-driven life. He’s the founder of The Inspired Man & Embodied Woman, a personal development program for men & women to go from lacking self-belief, direction and purpose to living their most inspired life every day. His mission is to help people create the most meaningful and abundant life by conscious design and in doing so, raise the level of consciousness on this planet.

  • I found myself deep into the exploration of the concept of giving freely - from my personal experiences, and cultural influences to the quest for self-awareness. With anecdotes from my Vietnamese upbringing, I delve into a wide spectrum of giving - from the simple acts in everyday life to more meaningful ones - unearthing how our cultural context deeply influences our perspective on giving.

Navigating through the complexities of giving freely, we further probe how our innate need for safety and belonging affects this act. We grapple with the challenging aspect of setting boundaries without being ruled by the fear of disappointing people. We question the conditioned response of an immediate 'yes' and encourage the idea of thoughtful consideration. The aim? To give freely without any subconscious expectations or strings attached, making our 'yes' truly meaningful. Let's journey together through these uncharted territories, illuminating the essence of true giving.

  • Picture an older, stern woman with a watch permanently affixed to her wrist, brandishing a clipboard like a weapon - meet my inner timekeeper. This ever-vigilant presence, constantly ticking away, was born from a deep-seated dread of disappointing others and the fear of trouble's consequence. With her ceaseless vigilance, my world was dominated by scarcity of time, a fear of missing out, and an overwhelming anxiety that I could never quite shake. But through a journey of self-discovery, I've been learning to separate myself from this anxious timekeeper, trying to navigate life without her constant ticking in my ear.

The power of pausing, of taking a breath, and being mindful of our energy and resources has been transformational for me. I've turned to practices like breathwork to not only manage time but to fully live in the present moment. The realization that we can't seize every opportunity that comes our way is a hard pill to swallow, but the freedom it brings is unparalleled. Join me, as we traverse this path towards understanding the true value of our time, embracing the art of slowing down, and gaining the courage to say no. Together, we will explore ways to manage this inner anxious timekeeper and make peace with her constant ticking.
