Jessie McLachlan is the founder of Altru a charity on a mission to innovate a positive movement of change. To raise awareness of the true statistics regarding underprivileged communities, youth, and homelessness.
As part of that mission, Jessie, along with her incredible Altru volunteers, will be holding Altru Fest – a series of parties with purpose in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney that will connect underprivileged or at-risk people with instantaneous services.
In this Episode we chat with Jessie about what led her to create the charity, her lived experience helping those in need and the challenges the charity faces in helping people on the ground.
