Science Fiction means so many things all at once. It is a catalyst for creativity and inquiry, and through its creation of alternate realities, it serves as a mirror to reflect where we are today. The setting is itself a main character in any Sci-Fi story as it is the all-important binding element that makes the story possible. A Sci-Fi show set a few centuries in the future would undoubtedly have to project our path forward and explain how we got to that point, whether itās a positive view of the future, or a totally dystopian one. Folks, itās the most wonderful time of the year! Football, blessed football has returned and not a moment too soon. Baseball is wonderful for sure, but nothing beats football. Even though its return signifies the end of summer vacations and going back to school, itās all worth it because of football, I shit you not. Thom and I played it as kids and the three of us have watching it our whole lives and we talk about it all year long.
