A double feature night! We start off with a brief discussion of Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948), the last of Bela Lugosi’s two onscreen Dracula performances. Then we move on to our first Werewolf feature, An American Werewolf in London (1981), and delve into the allegorical portrayals of mental illness in the cinematic Werewolf.

We finally get into Dracula with the landmark 1958 interpretation of the Dracula franchise by Hammer Films. Starring the late and great Christopher Lee!! *swooning*

Another double feature night, starting with the vampire versus werewolf action of “Underworld.” Then it’s back the the 80s, in which we were not pleased with the poorly aged sex comedy of “Once Bitten” (1985).

We briefly discuss vampire sexploitation flick “Bitten” (2008) before moving onto this round’s official club pick “Vampire’s Kiss” (1989), featuring a cringeworthy but symbolic Nicholas Cage performance.

At 1AM in Dan’s bedroom we dissect vampire classic Fright Night (1985) and it’s 2011 remake. RIP Evil Ed.
