Angela Briones is the proud host of The Gay Podcast for Everyone - and when she says everyone, she means everyone. Whether you align yourself as gay or straight, we all have room to learn from and grow with one another. And that includes Angela herself who discovered her own bias just by doing her show and that discovery caused her to dive deeper and become more open. We talk about the straight parents raising LGBQT kids she features on her show, how she came out to her own parents and whether or not they made it out alive from an escape room (not necessarily in that order). This is another example of how much the world is changing and evolving - and how acceptance, support and love are our shared experience.

Denise Montrose returns to the show so prepare for a moo-ving experience. We catch up about life on the farm including how she's gone from two to ten cows rescued (plus another twenty placed) and how she's grown as a person and a care-giver of animals over the last few years. Denise is one of the most honest guests we've ever had - meaning she wears her heart on her sleeve and at the same time questions her own steps she has made and keeps making in her effort to do more good in the world (who of us hasn't?). We also discuss the Valentine's Day FaceTime I received from one of her cows. Yes. Seriously. It happened. Great to have her back on another episode with us.

Steph Hockersmith is Pie Lady Books on Instagram and let's just say close to 100,000 followers can't be wrong: Books and pies pair so good together. Steph's life-long love of reading became her own personal baking experiment. It also became a way for her to express - and find - herself. And it also blew up into something she never imagined - a full-time job. With literary agents and publishers knocking on her door to read and feature their author's books, as well as the Today Show booking (see what I did there?) her for an appearance, this Pie Lady is proving dessert can be the main course. Prepare to be inspired to read more, bake more, and do-your-own-thing more.

Natalie Buchoz is the definition of turning tragedy into triumph: In December of 2007, her life changed forever when a skiing accident resulted in a cervical spinal cord injury. And for every one of us who would have seen this as an ending, she saw this as her new beginning. Natalie shares her incredibly good journey that's equal parts faith as it is determination, strength as it is inspiration. And she is using her voice to help others overcome adversity and help find a cure for paralysis. If you feel you're done, you have nothing more to give, Natalie's uplifting story will help you too.

Victoria Gaither returns to share her journey as a black skier, where she is breaking down stereotypes and changing the narrative. We talk about her own history, both as a professional journalist and avid skier, and how she's combining them to help others make a connection. And she's doing this not just by skiing but also through her writing about it in her local newspaper in Killington, Vermont. We also discuss why she prefers the cold over the warm in the winter and how ice hotels are still on both our bucket lists. Vic is one of our favorite good guests and we're thrilled to have her back to share more good with us.

Emilie Leyes is a brain-training specialist and hypnosis practitioner. This is our first good guest in a trio of episodes focused on getting unstuck thru our mind, our gut, and our soul. Emilie's here to handle the mind section by helping us explore where we find our personal safety, how important it is to get out of our comfort zone thru travel, and how some metaphoric bears in the woods keep getting in our way. Emilie also has a crazy good connection to WGG host Steve that blew their minds when they realized it. Let's get past the stuck, people!

Here we go out of the studio and into a parking lot filled with classic cars and the people who love them. We are talking with car buffs and collectors, how they find community thru their cars, and just how much nostalgia plays into all of it. From this group's ring leader, Dirty Pete (that's his name, I can't make this stuff up), to Barracudas and Slug Bugs, rev up with us as we find the good in getting behind the wheel and owning a piece of history. Speaking of a good rev, our 2024 revolution is ELIMINATE EXPECTATIONS and this new episode does just that. Buckle up, kids...

Katherine Roberts is not shy to make change and take leaps in her life. She is the very definition of a self-starter and she’s got her own special recipe - you’ll see why we use that word when you listen - for good. Katherine shares the good of passing down family recipes, reinventing meals as well as yourself, and believing in yourself even when it's the scariest thing to believe in. This is the first new episode of 2024 and an oh-so-good way to kickstart the new year.

At just 12 years old, Connor Wright decided the world needed more kindness and so Connor's Kindness Project was born. Connor along with his nana, Sharon Marrama, started creating Covid Care Packages filled with activities and comfort items and delivered them to children in their community that were sick or in isolation from Covid. From there, Connor and Sharon worked on a few other projects including compiling self-care baskets for the healthcare workers at Boston area hospitals, held a clothing and essentials drive to benefit another nonprofit, Catie’s Closet and collaborated with Birthday Wishes to build and delivered 42 “birthday-in-a-box” for children in shelters. Since then, the kindness-doing-duo have helped over 10,000 kids embrace and spread kindness thru their special school project as well as corporate kindness for companies. These two are proof we're never too young or too old to make some serious good happen in the world.

Keri and Tom from Snow Windows join us to spread some holiday cheer. It all started back in 2007 when one Christmas Eve Tom decided to surprise her with a snow scene on their kitchen window. Tom has always been artistic and thought of a new way to use regular snow spray to decorate. He sprayed it onto the window and brushed an image of a little house into the spray. And the rest, as they say, is holiday history. Keri and Tom share the joys of working together, the art of doing the art itself, why being nostalgic is a good thing and so much more merriness. Join us as we kick off the holiday season by skating across the pond to the UK to chat the good chat with our new friends at Snow Windows.

Alethea Crimmins is Pimpin' Positivity on a daily basis, right from her car, into the hearts and minds of over 1.5 million friends and fans on Tik Tok. Now you might think she's always been this strong and confident but it turns out she's human just like the rest of us and she grew into her true light. We talk everything that's good from loving your own self just as you are, right where you are to how preschool children can destroy you with one single sentence to why we all need to be glitter. Yes. Actual glitter. This is the Thanksgiving episode you didn't know you needed but damn are you gonna be so thankful for. So on that note, as Alethea herself would say, "Ya welcome!"

Grey James is a good target. That's the title Grey has chosen in light of what is going on in Grey's community. And just what is going on? Well, the same thing that's happening across the United States: An assault on books, history, sex education, and in this case, LGBQT+ equality and rights. Grey shares his journey as an artist, how he strives to bring his community together, and why some people in that community are pushing back against it. Conversations like these aren't always the easiest to have, participate in and listen to, but that's what we do here at World Gone Good: We look for the light and find the light in the darkness to prove there's still good out there and lots of it. This good story - and it is a good story, trust us - was brought to our attention by previous good guest Laura Brody and for that we say, thank you.
