Bienvenidos de nuevo al día 25 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días. Soy su host Maritza Mendez, gracias por unirse a nosotros en oración y una cálida bienvenida a todos los que se unen a nosotros por primera vez.
Hoy estamos celebrando el Día del Trabajo, un día especial en el que reconocemos y honramos el trabajo y las contribuciones de los trabajadores en todo el país. Cuando pensamos en el trabajo, es fácil verlo solo como una forma de ganarnos la vida. Pero nuestro trabajo es mucho más que eso. De hecho, es una manera en la que participamos en la creación de Dios. Cada pequeña tarea que realizamos puede ofrecerse a Dios, convirtiendo nuestro trabajo diario en un hermoso acto de oración.
Pero también es importante recordar que necesitamos equilibrio. Así como Dios descansó el séptimo día, nosotros también estamos llamados a tomarnos un tiempo para descansar, renovar nuestro espíritu y mantenernos conectados con Dios.
Este equilibrio nos ayuda a recordar que nuestro valor no está solo en lo que hacemos, sino en quiénes somos como Sus amados hijos.
Día 25 - Misterios Gozosos en Petición
Hoy, mientras rezamos los Misterios Gozosos en petición, elevemos en oración a todos los que trabajan, especialmente a aquellos que trabajan en condiciones laborales difíciles. Pidamos la gracia de encontrar significado y propósito en nuestro trabajo, y la fortaleza para equilibrar nuestro labor con el descanso espiritual.

Family, today we're celebrating Labor Day in the United States. It is a special day where we recognize and honor the hard work and contributions of laborers all over the country. But when we think about work, it's easy to just see it as a way to make a living. But from a Catholic perspective, our work is much more than that. It is actually a way to participate in God's creation.
Every little task that we do can be offered up to God, turning our daily work into a beautiful act of worship. But it's also important to remember that we need balance just like God rested on the seventh day, we're called to take time to rest, renew our spirits, and stay connected with God.
This balance help us to remember that our worth isn't just in what we do, but in who we are as His beloved children.

Familia, hoy quiero reflexionar sobre la importancia de rezar en comunidad. Ustedes son parte de una familia global, que está unida en la oración a través del Rosario. Cuando rezamos cen comunidad, nuestras voces se amplifican y las gracias que recibimos se multiplican. En comunidad encontramos la fortaleza, consuelo y apoyo.
Esta temporada, somos bendecidos con personas que rezan con nosotros desde todo el mundo, incluyendo los Estados Unidos, Canadá, el Reino Unido, Australia, Costa Rica, Colombia, Irlanda, Nigeria, Ruanda, Singapur, México, Sudáfrica, Trinidad y Tobago, Uganda, Alemania, Japón, Zimbabue, Croacia, India, Malasia, Nueva Zelanda, España, Mauricio, Guatemala, Dinamarca, Filipinas, Tanzania, Zambia, Suecia, Suiza, Catar, Honduras, Kenia, Paraguay, la República Dominicana y Chile. Family, today I want to reflect on the importance of praying in community. You are now part of a family of prayer. When we pray together as one, our voices are amplified, and the graces we receive are multiplied. It’s within this unity that we find strength, comfort, and support.
This season, we are blessed to have people praying with us all over the world, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ireland, Nigeria, Rwanda, Singapore, Mexico, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, Germany, Japan, Zimbabwe, Croatia, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Spain, Guatemala, Denmark, the Philippines, Tanzania, Zambia, Sweden, Switzerland, Qatar, Honduras, Kenya, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, and Chile. Since Season 1, we’ve had people join us from 152 different countries and territories in total. What a beautiful testament to unity of our Church, united in prayer through the Rosary. Our Blessed Mother bringing us together.

Familia, hoy mientras rezamos los Misterios Gloriosos en petición, reconocemos el Día Internacional de Concienciación sobre la Sobredosis. Este día nos recuerda las vidas afectadas por la adicción, una lucha que puede parecer abrumadora y aislante. Elevemos en oración a todos aquellos que están luchando contra la adicción, y rezamos por tener un espíritu de compasión, comprensión y apoyo dentro de nuestras comunidades. Recordemos que, a través de nuestras oraciones y acciones, podemos ser instrumentos de la misericordia y el amor de Dios, llevando esperanza a quienes lo necesitan.

This day reminds us of the countless lives affected by addiction—a struggle that can feel overwhelming and isolating. Let uspray for all those who are battling addiction, and may we foster a spirit of compassion, understanding, and support within our communities. Let’s remember that through our prayers and actions, we can be instruments of God’s mercy and love, bringing hope to those in need.

Bienvenidos de nuevo al día 22 de nuestra Novena del Rosario de 54 días. Soy su host Maritza Mendez. Soy su host Maritza Mendez, gracias por unirse a nosotros en oración y una cálida bienvenida a todos los que se unen a nosotros por primera vez.
Familia, el Rosario es una herramienta poderosa en nuestras vidas espirituales. Un ejemplo inspirador es la Batalla de Lepanto en 1571, donde la oración del Rosario, convocada por el Papa Pío V, fue clave para una victoria milagrosa. Este evento nos recuerda que el Rosario no solo influye en grandes acontecimientos, sino también en nuestras vidas diarias.
Muchos de nosotros tenemos historias personales sobre cómo el Rosario nos ha guiado y protegido. Es sorprendente cómo estas sencillas oraciones nos brindan paz y fortaleza. En tiempos difíciles, el Rosario es nuestro refugio, ayudándonos a permanecer cerca de Dios y a fortalecer nuestra fe.
Mientras continuamos con nuestra novena, recordemos que cada oración del Rosario nos acerca más a la fortaleza espiritual y nos mantiene conectados con Dios.

Family, the Rosary is truly a powerful tool in our spiritual lives. Throughout history, the Rosary has been seen as a strong defense against spiritual battles. One of the most inspiring examples is the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. The Christian fleet faced overwhelming odds, and Pope Pius V called for a Rosary Crusade. The victory that followed was widely believed to be the result of those Rosary prayers. This event showed how the Rosary can influence great events and bring about miraculous outcomes.
But it’s not just about historical victories. Many of us have personal stories about how the Rosary has guided and protected us. It’s amazing how this simple set of prayers can bring so much peace and strength. When we face difficulties, the Rosary can be our refuge, helping us stay close to God and fortify our faith.
As we continue with our novena, remember that each prayer of the Rosary is a step towards spiritual strength. It keeps us anchored and connected to God, especially in challenging times.

Family, today I want to reflect on the life of St. Augustine and the power of a mother's prayer. Before his conversion, St. Augustine struggled with many sins. He sought fulfillment and earthly pleasures and lived in ways that were not aligned with the Christian teachings. His life was marked by self-indulgence and a search for truth in places that ultimately left him feeling empty. But through it all, Augustine's mother, Saint Monica, demonstrated the profound power of persistent prayer.
As Catholics, we believe that a mother's prayer holds a special powerful place before God. Monica's relentless prayers for her son are a testament to this. She prayed without stopping, believing in the transformative power of God's grace. Her faith and dedication were eventually rewarded when Augustine embraced Christianity and transformed his life.

As we continue with our novena, we are reminded of the incredible power of perseverance in prayer, especially on this feast day of Saint Monica. Saint Monica is a beautiful example of faith and perseverance. For years she prayed over the conversion of her son, Saint Augustine, who eventually became one of the greatest saints. Her commitment to prayer even when the outcome seemed uncertain is a powerful reminder for us all.
Perseverance in prayer is not just about persistence, it's about trusting in God's timing and His plan, even when we can't see the results immediately. Today, we face challenges that test our patience and faith. Whether it's praying for a loved one's conversion, healing, or guidance in a difficult situation, St. Monica's example teaches us to remain faithful, to keep praying, and to trust that God is working in ways that we may yet not understand.
By remaining rooted in prayer and trust, we allow God's grace to strengthen us just as he did for St. Monica.

Familia esta novena esta dividida en 3 novenas de 9 días que se piden en petición y 3 novenas de 9 días que se rezan en agradecimiento. Hoy, en este día, estamos terminando nuestra segunda novena de 9 días en petición.
Nuestra madre Maria nos dio esta novena de 54 días cuando ella se apareció en Italia, en el siglo XIX, y nos dio la instrucción de rezar con un corazón lleno de fe, pidiendo por nuestras necesidades durante 27 días y luego ofreciendo 27 días de acción de gracias, incluso antes de que nuestras peticiones sean concedidas.
Es un hermoso recordatorio de que el tiempo de Dios es perfecto y que la paciencia en la espera es una gracia que debemos abrazar.

Family, the 54 -day Rosary Novena is split into three 9-day novenas in petition, followed by three 9-day novenas in Thanksgiving. And today we are finishing up our second novena in petition. This 54 -day Rosary Novena was given to us by our Blessed Mother herself when she appeared in Italy in the 19th century and instructed this novena to be prayed with a heart full of faith, petitioning for our needs for 27 days and then offering 27 days of Thanksgiving even before our requests have been granted.
It is a beautiful reminder that God's timing is perfect and that patience in waiting is a grace we must embrace.
Today, let us reflect on the virtue of patience, especially when it comes to waiting on God's perfect plan for our life. In moments of longing and anticipation, whether it's waiting for the right person to come into our lives or a specific prayer to be answered, let’s remember that God is working behind the scenes. He calls us to wait with joy, trusting that he knows what is best for us and his timing is always perfect.
Day 18 - Sorrowful Mysteries in Petition
Family, let's get started. Today, we're praying the sorrowful mysteries in petition.
Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, be with us in our prayers as we pray for the grace of peace, patience, and perseverance. We humbly request your intercession, lifting up the special intentions that reside within our hearts.
Blessed Mother on the feast day of St. Joseph Colossians, we pray for all students, all educators, teachers, that they may be guided by wisdom, patience, and a deep love of learning in their pursuit of the truth.
Blessed Mother, on this day we pray for all those who are awaiting their visa. We pray for peaceful settlements, financial restoration, Kelly's Healing, job opportunities, protection, success in health and new jobs, business growth, freedom from cancer. We pray for my friend Sarah, the gift of a home, blessed marriages, academic success, priestly vocations, family peace, favorable court outcomes, deliverance from addictions, and the protection of unborn babies.
We pray for our families' intentions here on the podcast, intentions received by email, Instagram, and YouTube. Bienvenidos de nuevo al día 17 de nuestra novena del Rosario de 54 días. Soy su host Maritza. Gracias por unirse en oración con nosotros.
Hoy quiero dedicar nuestra oración al hermoso don de la paz. La paz no es solo la ausencia de conflicto, sino una profunda armonía que proviene de estar en una relación correcta con Dios, con los demás y con nosotros mismos. Esta paz es un fruto del Espíritu Santo y un regalo de Dios. Experimentamos esta paz divina cuando alineamos nuestras vidas con la voluntad de Dios y abrazamos Su amor y gracia.
La paz es saber que Dios está con nosotros, incluso en nuestro sufrimiento, y que Su amor por nosotros nunca cambia. Al rezar el Rosario, entramos en esta paz, reflexionando sobre la vida de Cristo y Su amor por nosotros. Las oraciones repetitivas ayudan a calmar nuestra mente y nos llevan más profundamente a la presencia de Dios.
La paz es tanto un don de Dios como algo que cultivamos a través de la oración, los sacramentos y viviendo nuestra fe. Es una paz que perdura en todas las circunstancias, enraizada en nuestra confianza en el amor y la guía de Dios.

And welcome back to day 17 of our 54 day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez. Thank you for joining us in today's prayer and if you're joining for the very first time, welcome to this beautiful family prayer.
Family, today I want to dedicate a prayer to the beautiful gift of peace. Peace is not just the absence of conflict, but a deep harmony that comes from being in right relationships with God, others, and ourselves. This peace is a fruit of the Holy Spirit and a gift from God. We experience this divine peace when we align our lives with God's will and embrace His love and grace.
Peace is knowing that God is with us, even in our suffering, and that His love for us never changes. As we pray the rosary, we enter into this peace reflecting on Christ's life and His love for us. The repetitive prayers help us to calm our minds and draw us deeper into God's presence.
Peace is also important in our relationships with others. As Jesus said in the Beatitudes "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God". We are called to be instruments of God's peace in the world, striving for justice, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
Peace is both a gift from God and something we cultivate through prayer, and the sacraments, and living our faith. It’s a peace that endures through all circumstances, rooted in our trust in God’s love and guidance.
