Excessive Rajas or tamas cause pain to us and ideally our goal is to do a practice that will help us stay calm, balanced and in present.

The tamas state of mind makes us dull and least excited about life. Pranayama is the best way to make life energy force to flow through us and bring back the joy and liveliness of life. 😃

In season 2 we are looking at reasons for Human suffering due to the 3 states of Mind - the rajas / tamas and Satva. This epiosde is about reasons for excessive tamas and reasons that contribute to it.

Exxessive rajas causes lots of restlessness, an overthing and negative thinking mind. Certain tools in yoga help us to deal the rajasic nature of mind.

Humans are bothered by many external and internal stimuli. The trigunas are internal mechanism which in state of imbalance cause dukham or klishta to them. Identifying the state and working on it helps bring stability and balance in their lives

In modern times we are under constant stress which results in the body operating in sympathetic mode causing loads of health issues.....listening to this session move to a para sympathetic mode and enjoy your body / mind / soul.

People may or may not go through adhyatmika/ adhibhautika/ adhidaivika pain but each single soul has to certainly go through the IVth inevitable pain.

Humans constantly keep going through one dukham or the other and they keep wondering why am i going through this? Understanding how these sufferings are categorised will help us be better equipped to deal the pain or challenges!!

Out of the 3 types of dukha this is the second one. Though viruses and bacteria's can be avoided - mishaps and accidents are something that are unknown and can't do much about it. Complete surrender to what happened and doing what is needed to come out of problem - focus on solution rather than problem.
