The majority of anime is produced by adapting existing manga, but most don't adapt the full story. Future seasons have happened, but a full anime run is still far from guaranteed.
The chief abuser of these "read the manga endings" is undoubtedly the Slice of Life genre, and the focus of today's episode.
Tyler and I counted down 5 anime that we recommend you read the manga after the animation's run-time.

Surprise! This was originally a bonus topic, but the more I spent time editing the audio and listening to the conversation, the stronger I felt this was deserving of a proper episode!
Today I am joined by fellow birdbrain, Jo Wildcard, to discuss a show from a genre we typically ignore, Shangri-La Frontier! It just goes to show, sometimes all you need to get into a series is a masked man in boxer briefs drop kicking an elf in slow motion, no I am not providing context!
Introduction = 0:00-19:35
Listener Spotlight = 19:36-27:44
Main Topic = 27:45 - end
Wildcard recommends you check out the Retrotopia podcast, and I agree!

A lot of really cool people applied really cool tech to this really "out there" cyberpunk thriller, and I want to cover all of it!
Musical credits in this episode composed by Kenji Kawai
