AND!
Cold Weather Gear Swap
Looking for some winter gear? Come by the Downtown Library on Sunday, January 19 from 2-4pm and pick some stuff out during the Cold Weather Gear Swap. Have extra stuff lying around the house in good shape? You can drop it off at any AADL location through this Saturday and they'll offer it up at the swap.
MLK, Jr. Day
All AADL locations are open on MLK Day and there's an event geared towards adults planned for the evening titled Martin Luther King Jr., and War: Then and Now, hosted by members of the local Veterans for Peace Chapter 93 that will talk about MLK's relationship between civil rights and militarism and discuss if the connection of this relationship is still applicable today. Monday, January 20 6:30pm Downtown.

Gizmo and Munchkin are searching for their adopter together!
These two are both 10.5 years old, are super affectionate, love being brushed and cuddling with you on the couch. Though they spend most of the time sleeping, Gizmo is always up for chasing a wand toy! Munchkin will occasionally bat at toys, but prefers to watch his sister play.
They’re a little shy, but so sweet with people they know. They follow their foster around the house, politely tapping with a paw when they want attention. They’re perfect about using their litter boxes and scratching pads, and rarely meow. They’d be perfect for someone looking for quiet, snuggly companions, without young children around!
Please email [email protected] or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today
All the animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.
