Much of what is “new” in safety has not been proven to make any difference to safety performance, some of it possibly making it worse. Our aim is to use legitimate science to explore ways to help improve safety and move beyond just fixing the environment or improving the system or making safety more conscious. These three approaches helped us improve safety and brought us to where we are today, but they are struggling to help us improve further. In the Safety Frontiers Podcast, our focus is to explore novel ways of thinking about safety: using different approaches to make systems more effective, strengthen safety culture, and take a deep dive into the discoveries and insights gained from neurobiology and brain research over the last 5 years. This will be new information to many. We know disruptive thinking challenges long-held beliefs and accepted norms. As such, it could be confronting for some. However, significant improvements tend to come from new perspectives and that is what we are interested in.We do not advocate one approach over another, we are here to explore new safety frontiers, to ensure that we are using everything available to help people with safety.

We interview brilliant humans who share their journeys, insights, and experiences. Each interview is with someone from the Good Humans Club. We bring you the voices of those from all walks of life to share with you what they geek out about-- their passions, talents, struggles, and successes. This doesn't mean that they're going to be tech talks (although they might be!). Each episode will feature the hosts and their guests talking about topics including health, psychology, art, music, learning, and more-- the list goes on. Episodes are fun and engaging and provide some nuggets of information that you can take away. Oh, and yeah, they might be awkward sometimes. That's just how we roll.

Often considered the 'Wild West' of Australia, the Northern Territory has more characters than the Oxford Dictionary. Most of them have never had their story told. Until Now!

Come on a journey, as we delve into the life stories of Territorians, whether born here or not, and hear some fascinating yarns.
We will donate all of our interviews the the Library and Archives of the NT, for their oral history project.
A true Territorian isn't merely a casual observer who enjoys the surroundings; they're the ones who forge a deep connection to the land. They establish their presence, nurture their families, and invest in the future of the Territory. Though the coming years may present challenges, a genuine Territorian embraces them with resolve, committed to enduring and prospering. They build legacies that echo through generations, ensuring a brighter tomorrow for their descendants, who will one day honour their foresight and dedication.
