Thank you for making our Put Down Your Phones event so special, it’s one that I will remember for a long time.
The energy, the atmosphere, the production, the sound, it was all spot on.
Thank you to all of you for embracing being in the moment and experiencing the night in real life rather than through a screen.
I spent months preparing music for this show, with the idea of combining the past with the present. It was my first Open to Close since 2023, and the five hours went by so fast. I loved every minute of it.

Spektre's record label Respekt presents a fiery techno single from Karney aka Bryan Kearney.
Karney is the techno alias of Irish trance icon, Bryan Kearney, and this release combines pounding percussion, in-your-face vocals, and menacing melody stabs.
This is the first time that Bryan Kearney has featured on Respekt, and it comes after he collaborated with Spektre to produce a track called "Remember the Future," which was released on A State of Trance.
"Delante" is the solo track on the release, and it opens with a pulsating acid bassline and hammering kick drum to form a foundation for thrashing hi-hats and punishing claps. The track is defined by the aggressive tones of a chanting vocal, which adds to the fist-pumping groove of this high-octane slice of peak time techno.

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Ruben de Ronde for an extended interview in the A State of Trance studio.
Over the course of 90 minutes, we discuss a wide range of topics from my early days as an aspiring DJ in the clubs and pirate radio stations of Dublin, to the journey of going from an apprentice electrician to a full time international DJ / Producer of almost 15 years. I speak about how hard times and personal experiences have influenced my music throughout this time.

Bryan Kearney originally released 'You Will Never Be Forgotten' as a poignant tribute, to his good friend, Barry Connell, back in 2008. Having recently reclaimed the rights to the track, we decided that now is the time for a fresh take on this emotional uplifter.
Lostly's remix of 'You Will Never Be Forgotten' is a masterful rework that honours the original while infusing it with fresh energy and emotion. Lostly's expert production techniques are evident, with his intricate layering of sounds, and each element meticulously crafted to enhance the impact of the track.
