Matthew 6:9-10 NIV
“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven…’”
When we pray “Our Father,” we are remembering that we are deeply and completely and uniquely loved and important to God. And the more that takes root in us, something happens that begins to replace our fears and anxieties and insecurities with a calmer confidence and a new ability to love others that Our Father loves.
You are my Father in Heaven
I am already a child of Heaven (Phil 2:20)
You love me just as you love Jesus! (Jn 17:23)
You are the Creator of the universe and you’re my Father!

Zephaniah 3:17 ESV
“The LORD your God is in your midst (NIV: “is with you”), a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing (NIV: “will rejoice over you with singing”).”
Because of Jesus’s death and resurrection, all these verbs are not only in the future but are now in the present tense. So envision/imagine this with your biblically guided imagination. God, the Creator, is with you right now. He has saved you. He’s rejoicing over you with gladness right now. He wants to quiet your anxiety and fear by his love. He’s rejoicing over you with singing.
