Being a fitness professional is one of the greatest jobs in the world. I wish I had a mentor or a guide when I started teaching. Let me be your mentor!
Here are several (10) tips if you're starting your fitness professional career or if you're thinking about diving into this industry:
1. Take lots of classes, meet lots of instructors
2. Say yes at the beginning to most opportunities
3. Start small, add on
4. Practice, know your content
5. Develop a style
6. Feel the part (does include looks)
7. Be loyal to YOU, not a company
8. Stop if it’s no longer fun
9. Some people won’t like you, and that’s OK
10. Keep up certifications and learn new formats
