In this episode I interviewed two Australian friends to talk about what they as men have experienced and learnt from relationships and dating in the past two decades.
It's an interesting discussion about the struggles and victories that men face when they navigate through the dating world and the importance of self development, self-confidence, risk taking, and having female friends. We also discuss about ways to manage rejection in the dating context and how it may be linked to the rise of e.g. the "incel" movement.
And of course, it wouldn't be a ConfuSex episode without some stories about anonymous sex, using Craigslist for hookups (still surprised by this one), threesomes and more 😁.

After the previous recording on blowjobs it felt important to also create an episode dedicated to cunilingus. But given the huge differences in preferences, I felt like any recording I could put together would not be representative enough and worst case scenario leave some women feeling left out.
So how did I solve this dilemma? Well, by narrowing down the focus. So instead of making a generic episode on all women, I invited my husband into the studio to specifically talk about our own journey towards more pleasure 😅.
Sharing this discussion with you tries to serve two purposes:
To keep the focus on our own experiences rather than give "advice" that is generalizable to everyone To give a glimpse of a genuine and vulnerable discussion between lovers which usually only takes place behind closed doors.We didn't exactly stay on topic and ended up going down memory lane and touched on a broad range of subjects. We spoke about understanding our own sexual needs, communicating those needs to each other, the taste and feel of vulvas, the desire to give pleasure, and of course, some tips and techniques which have worked for us.
This is us taking a risk and being vulnerable, so please, be kind 🙏❤️

Salam from Iran!
For Episode 8, we had the pleasure of talking with Dr. Parsa on her experiences of women in Iran. Dr. Parsa has spent the last 35 years specializing in civil movements and democratic ideologies in Iran, particularly focusing on the important role that women play in these movements.
We managed to pack extremely important topics into less than an hour’s recording ranging from the position that women hold in Iranian society, the islamic revolution, women’s activism, as well as ideas for creating a more democratic future for the country.
For anyone interested in Iran, the Middle East or the Arab World in general, this episode will be an absorbing dive into the topic with a true subject matter expert! We are extremely thankful to Dr. Parsa for her time and insights.

Hello from Hong Kong and the UK!
In Episode 7 we were grateful to have two psychologists, (Sabine - 32) and (Kristie - 45) joining us to discuss how western society views women when we are young, and how that viewpoint changes as we get older.
We investigated how we are often worshiped and even fetishized as teenagers and young women, and then, within a relatively short time bracket society starts seeing us as old, invisible and even irrelevant. This dilemma becomes even more perverse when you realize that so many amazing things come with ageing, whether it’s becoming more self-aware, confident, wise or sexually empowered.
Tune into this raw, yet hopeful reflection of how three very different women have personally dealt with the stages of ageing. We are so thankful to Sabine and Kristie for joining us!

In our first ever Weed Edition we lit up our joints, got comfortable and sat down to discuss relationships. We had no script or plan for how the session would go - the purpose was really just to go with the flow, or ahem, the high, and let ourselves enjoy the moment and be vulnerable.
The outcome? A mix of topics ranging from the pitfalls of casual relationships, the fear of expressing feelings, protecting others from getting hurt, manipulating your partner, and we admit, quite a few silences.
Start listening from basically anywhere - the subject matters are broad and given our states of minds, we didn't exactly manage to stay on topic.
