Ya know, usually if you do our show once, that is enough for a lifetime, but Paul Jackson of Blackberry Smoke has agreed to come on AGAIN in a triumphant return - along with some special guest - Paul's own son, Spencer Jackson - a musician in his own right and part time guitar tech for Blackberry Smoke!
We talk about how Blackberry Smoke has been able to continue on in the time following the untimely death of founding member Brit Turner, get some stories from the road, and what 2025 and beyond looks like for BBS!
We also fight over Van Halen songs, and of course feature our award-winning* segments, "DIS-Covered" and "This Song SUCKS"

We talk Jellyfish, The Moog Cookbook, Imperial Drag, TV Eyes, The Lickerish Quartet, his solo career (including his newest EP, "Radio Daze"), why we have to say his FULL name, and more! Roger drops all sorts of knowledge on being a musician and what he's learned over the years.

Mike and Nick are back after a summer respite, and this time around they are joined by San Diego Alt-Rockers MANGANISTA. Manganista, like most every other band, started off as a fun, DIY project. Now, over 20 years later, they have developed a cult-like following, nabbed an indie record label deal, and most recently have released a box set with dub-style remixes! We'll discuss how all this came to be, and how you, too, can do the same!
Of course, we shall also feature our most famous segments - Dumb News, DIS-Covered, and This Song Sucks! Check it all out LIVE on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at 9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific

Mike and Nick are back once again with a post-Memorial day show, and are super proud to be featuring an interview with Bassist/Vocalist/Front of House Engineer/Producer Brad Divens! We chat with Brad about his time as Bassist and lead vocalist for Wrathchild America and Souls At Zero, playing guitar in Kix, touring with metal luminaries such as Metallica, Pantera and Slayer, and what it's like being on the OTHER side of the mixing desk, doing sound for artists like Linkin Park, Garbage, Bob Seger, Enrique Iglesias, and Disturbed.
As always, our beyond famous segments "DIS-Covered" and "This Song Sucks" will be featured as well as our newest segment "DUMB NEWS"

We made it! 50! Our 'golden' episode! And...Mike and Nick have someone special joining them to celebrate - PAUL JACKSON of BLACKBERRY SMOKE! This six-string slinger joined in the merriment and discussed what it's like to be a part of a killer band, the highs and lows of touring, and what comes next as well as a touching tribute to late Drummer and friend, Brit Turner!

WEEEEEE'RE BACK!!! At least for one week. Mike and Nick make a semi-triumphant return to 'Cover to Covered' at the halfway point on the year, going over the best AND worse from 2023 - so far! We'll discuss the best and worse releases - not necessarily new ALBUMS, but new RELEASES - as well as Josh Freese being brought on as the touring drummer for the Foo Fighters, why Ticketmaster, Live Nation, et al, now telling you all the fees UP FRONT DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM, why every touring show plays Detroit on a Wednesday, most likely a visit from Fat Gene SImmons, and of course our most loved segments - 'DIS-covered' and 'This song SUCKS'!

Ok, so...this isn't as 'crunchy granola, hippie-dippy' as one might think. This isn't necessarily about songs that are 'happy', but songs that can INSTANTLY get you out of a bad mood! 50 years - wow. "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd - one of the most famous, successful and influential albums of ALL TIME is turning 50 this year, and Mike (who was very sick this episode) and Nick wax poetic on this incredible effort of musicianship and ingenuity in recording and engineering. In addition, we did a LIVE UNBOXING of the 50th Anniversary Box Set that is being released on March 24th - so listen to what we found!!!!

The END OF THE ROAD is here...or so Kiss says. The tickets for the final leg of the (supposedly) final tour of Kiss' career go on sale Friday, and with that, Mike and Nick thought it would be appropriate to go through the bulk of Kiss' catalog, give a quick review of each album, and create a playlist of our favorites from each album...but we needed help... SO... we are happy to have RO KOHLI of (the appropriately named) WAR MACHINE MERCH and complete Kiss NERD to help us sum up 50 years of Kiss! We'll also talk about what's on our turntables, and of course our staple segments "DIS-Covered" and "THIS SONG SUCKS"!
