In the second IAMPE Port Perspectives interview series, Capt Jeff Monroe sits down with Federal Maritime Commissioner, Carl Bentzel, to hear what's been happening at the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC). The two discuss how the pandemic has changed views and regulations on the shipping industry and how the FMC has handled those changes. Commissioner Bentzel gives insight on his predictions for ocean shipping in the coming months and concludes the interview by providing advice for new people looking to enter the maritime industry.
