Today's ep takes on a very Scandi feel, as our guest detective hot foots it from the Shetland Isles with tales of local ne'er do wells and fishy goings on, begging the question as to why no TV crime drama has been set there yet?
The gang then find their sea legs to get to the bottom of a story set on the high seas, before helping one lucky listener solve the mystery of a lost, or stolen object - it's a case only the Drunk Women can crack.

It was obvious from the very start that this ep's guest, fellow podcaster and presenter Clair Buckley, would be a dab hand when it comes to solving crime - and what a delight it was to have her crack open the lager, as well as help crack a case that happened on live TV no less.
Clair also shared a very personal crime story, which proves that fast food is bad for your health, as well as being a magnet for any passing perpetrator.
We also hear Clair's strong opinions on how the end of a relationship can affect your pet.

Today, we're joined by a real-life legal eagle and crime fighter who still manages to be a top glass comic, Davina Bentley - add the ESQ at your discretion. As you'll hear in Davina's own crime story, she's got serious sleuthing skills and she's not afraid to use them – and to ask questions later. The team then looks at a case which takes us into the stratosphere, while also leaving us wondering if adult nappies are a tool for romance. Finally, we hear from a listener whose crime story gnomes no boundaries. Plus, we hear from a listener who wants some help with a persistent thief who keeps hanging around.

And finally, a member of the audience tells us about a crime from Christmas past, but is Ethan really a prick?

Today, hilarious comedian Freya Mallard joins the force, not only to help get to the bottom of one of the FBI's biggest ever stings, but also to get some closure for the time her teacher didn't appreciate Freya's truth telling ways and decided public shaming was the way to treat this candid kid. Last month the DWSC team hot footed it over to our friends at St James in Guernsey for two sell out shows featuring the amazing Dawn O' Porter! As well as recording two episodes of Drunk Women Solving Crime, Taylor and Hannah also interviewed Dawn about her brilliant new book, Honeybee, which is available to buy now.As you'll hear, the book is set on the beautiful island of Guernsey, where Dawn grew up, and she tell us why it was important to set the story on home turf, and how that shaped the narrative. We also learn what a party bus is (where do we sign up?) and as well as taking questions from the audience, Dawn and our hosts also deal with a stage invasion which has unbelievable parallels with the book!
