This is the fourth in a series of five episodes on the original Renaissance man, Leonardo Da Vinci. This episode covers the year that our artist spent with Niccolo Machiavelli and Cesare Borgias. This period would go on to serve as the inspiration for Machiavelli's seminal work on Power, "The Prince." Borgias, the corrupt son of one of the history's most corrupt Popes, is an odd choice for Da Vinci, whose fame had now spread beyond the borders of the Italian city-states. We'll examine the artists' thought process as well as the infamous banquet of chestnuts and the spread of syphilis across the peninsula.

Although, she didn't literally wield a sword, Matilda was integral to the war effort - resulting in one of history's most dramatic escapes as well as a few blunders that ultimately cost her the title of 'the first Queen of England.'

After examining the main charges leveled against her, we'll conclude that the Egyptian Queen is only guilty of being one of the world's greatest rulers.
