Luke Likes 'Story Of My Life'
I wanted, want, wanted. I wanted to talk about today, my day. What happened, happened, happened, happened. What happened to me today that I didn't, I did, didn't, don't, didn't. I didn't have the best day. I didn't have the best day. I had, have, had, I had. I had quite a bad day. Quite a bad start of the day. I will just say stay away from bad people. Stay away from them. Stay away.
Instead, instead. So not this, but something else. Instead, instead. I will have not a regular story. Quite a twisted, crazy, twisted story. Hope you will like it.
Okay, so one day, let's say, one day. One day, I, oh, get, got. So I got a book. I got a book. So I got a book and I opened it and, oh, freeze, froze. I froze. I froze because I looked at the title and it said, they said 'The Life and Work of Luke', my name. Oh my God!, I thought, think, thought, think, thought.
So I got a book.
I opened it.
I looked and
I froze because
the title said, the title said, 'Life and Work of Luke'
And then, oh, take, took. I took. I took. I took it and went out. Go, went.
So I opened.
I looked and
I took it and
went out. I went out.
On my way, meet, met, I met. I met my neighbour. I met my neighbour and told him, obviously, I told him, tell, told, I told him everything about this crazy, twisted, twisted situation. But he wasn't, isn't, wasn't. He wasn't shocked like me. Why? He wasn't.
So I took the book.
I went out and
I met my neighbor.
I told, tell, told him everything and
he wasn't shocked.
He, he told me he had, he had this book. He had this book about me, which was really, really strange. It was, have, had, have, had. Buy, bought. He bought this book a long time ago. And I guess, I guess he knew, know, knew. He knew everything about me from it. He knew everything about me. Wait, am I famous?,I thought. Am I famous? Think, thought, I thought, am I famous?
So he told me
he had this book and
it was strange.
And he bought it a long time ago.
And he knew, he knew everything about me from the book.
And I thought, I thought, am I famous?
I thought, am I famous?
So then run, ran, I ran, I ran back to my house. I ran back to my house and begin, begin, began. I began, I began to wonder. I began to think wonder. Is this a joke? Is this a joke? Or maybe this is a dream. Maybe I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming. I thought, think, thought. I couldn't tell. Can, could. Can't, couldn't. I couldn't tell.
What is real and what is not.
Maybe the book is real.
Maybe my life looks real.
But it's just a story.
And I'm just a character in the past.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'Thank God'
I have this friend, I have this friend that always says, always says, Hmm, can you buy friends? No, you can't. Can you buy love? Well, no, you can't. Definitely you can't. But, thank God, you can buy food. Thank God.
Yeah, I'm not sure, I'm not sure that I'm the same way. but I'm not just a voice on your telephone, I'm not just a voice, I do eat food, I will not surprise you here, I eat food, and I appreciate, appreciate, so I think it is important, I appreciate food.
And maybe it's not the most important part of my life, it isn't, but, obviously, it is a big part. It is a big part.I have four to five meals because that is what, that is what we learn here, that we have to, we have to have many regular but small, regular but small meals. I don't know if it's true. I don't know if it's healthy. I'm not saying that. You choose. You go and see your doctor. You go and ask Google or who you want. I do that.
And the first and the most important for me, but again, this is what I learn, this is what I learn back in school, back in school, and I think a lot of people follow this rule that breakfast, breakfast, I'm talking about breakfast, is the most important meal of the day.
My breakfast starts, most of the days, between seven and eight. And I am very, very regular when it comes to breakfast. So, for me, it has to be light, has to be a little sweet, and has to take little time, has to take little time to prepare. And the perfect meal, perfect meal that fits, fits here, fits here is oatmeal. This is my lovely, fantastic oatmeal. And I will add, I will add that I am a bit of an oatmeal addict, oatmeal addict, so I can't live without it, I can't live, like an addict, because I don't really remember the day without. Yeah, I can't remember the day the last time without oatmeal. There is no day without oatmeal. No day.
Anyway, anyway, oatmeal with nuts, oatmeal with fruit, blueberries, blueberries for me, oatmeal with yogurt, oatmeal with peanut butter. That's all very tasty, all very tasty. And if only I have more time in the morning, I usually don't, if only I have a little more time, I enjoy it very much and take my time, I take my time eating it and enjoying it, yeah.
Alright, then comes lunch, lunch, maybe around twelve, around twelve, and for me, it's maybe a little sad to say, but it is usually scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs for lunch. I like it. I like it. It's quick, it's easy and it has protein, protein that I want, I want. And I like it. Why not?
Then comes dinner, dinner. Usually should be a little earlier, earlier than that, but for me, it's around 5-6pm, 5-6pm. And it can be different every day. Tofu sometimes, pasta sometimes, oh, dumplings for example, dumplings. I love these, dumplings.
I finish the day with the last meal, let's call that supper, the last supper. And for me this must be some yogurt with protein, protein, this important element we get from food, and some fruits, fruits. Yeah, that's lovely. Not a lot, in between. there are obviously sometimes snacks, snacks in between the meals.
I quite enjoy it. I quite enjoy it. Especially when I can spend a little more time eating and enjoying my meal. This is really pleasant. I love that time with the family, at the table, thinking, thank God you can buy food, thank God.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'Trendsetter'
A trendsetter, that is the word to learn in English, that is the word to learn in English because, hmm, what is trendy and what isn't anymore? It isn't trendy anymore, so it was, it was trendy. And it isn't or things that were, were trendy, were trendy some time ago, some time ago, and they aren't, they aren't anymore, they aren't anymore,
So if you want to, if you want to know that, you are in the right place because I am your trendsetter, trendsetter. No I am not really, I am not, I am not, I am so not a trendsetter, I am so not. So if you are a little like me, meaning, which means, which means you don't follow what is trendy, that might be a little difficult, that might be a little difficult to decide what is trendy and was trendy.
I am trying to follow a little bit but I like the clothes I wear, but at the same time, at the same time, I am not quick, I am not quick to change the style, I am not quick to change the style. Okay, I don't know what the latest trend in fashion is, I don't know. I can see that, but do I do it? Hmm, not really, not really, because it comes and goes, it comes and it goes. So it is right now, but soon, soon, it won't be here, it won't be here. Something else, something else will come.
It always amazes me, it is amazing, it always amazes me how the fit, the fit, the style or the fit of jeans changes, the fit of jeans changes. For example, slim fit, slim fit. I am not sure if it is trendy right now, because I can see that baggy jeans, baggy trousers and baggy jeans are the most popular, are the most popular at to the moment, and the slim fit jeans were, were popular a few years ago, a few years back. So they aren't popular anymore,
Also when I look at teenagers, teenagers, I have to say that hoodies, hoodies, hoodies, big baggy hoodies are popular, but I don't think they were, I don't think they were that popular in the past, especially for girls, especially for girls. I might be wrong here, teenagers don't be upset with me, don't be upset with me. I'm sure you will, but try not to. But this is what I can see, so they weren't, they weren't as popular as they are right now,
And also when it comes to colours, that's amazing, that's amazing. Because well, guess what, guess what, there are, in my opinion, that is definitely my opinion, there are two main colours, I am talking about teenagers here, and they are navy blue, dark blue, this is colour number one, and colour number two is black. That's all. Very, very mono, monochromatic world. Very sad really, very sad. Monochromatic. One colour world. Two colour world, I'm sorry, two colour world.
Okay, let's add, let's add, let's put one more colour, gray, gray too, so three colour, but this is all, all: black, dark blue, and gray. No more colours, no more colours. Three colours. Like a very sad flag, in fact. A very sad flag, of a very sad country, in a very sad world, very sad.
So it is always, always interesting to see how those things, those trends and tastes, and tastes, so things we like, change, change over, over time, and there is one sure thing, that one day, one day, what was trendy, will not be anymore, but after some time it will come back, and be trendy again, again.
So maybe think twice, think twice, think carefully, think twice, before you get rid, get rid of your old clothes, because if you want to be a trendsetter, look into your wardrobe to find what was trendy five, ten years ago.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'I Might Be Wrong'
I wonder, I wonder, because I am not sure, I wonder about many things, actually many things. I wonder, I am not sure, I am not sure, but I am sure that it is evening and I am recording a podcast and I am having my green tea, obviously, so all of that is sure. I wonder about you, because there is a lot of questions, a lot of questions about you. I have no idea, I might be wrong, I may be wrong, I might, I may, I might be wrong, I might be wrong. I can try, I can try and guess.
Let me think, let me think. You might be, you might be, you might be tired, you might be tired right now and I am sure you are listening to this, you are listening right now, so you must be listening, but you might be tired because it might be evening, it might be evening after the whole day of work, the whole day of school.
But I wonder if it is morning, so you might be fresh, you might be fresh and well rested, well rested, so you might have a lot of energy and you might be on your way to school, on your way to work, on your way to work. I might be wrong, I might be wrong here, I might be wrong.
Because you might be on your walk right now, you might be on your walk. And you might be outside with your dog, you might be outside, or without, without, and you might be thinking, what is this episode about?, What is this episode about? You might be thinking, you might be, you might be thinking, what is this episode about? I can't tell you, I can't tell you. You must, you must figure out, figure out, you must figure out yourself what this episode is about.
I know, I know, you may, may, you may, you may, you may be having your lunch right now, and you may be thinking, you may be thinking, I may listen to the podcast because I have some time off, I have some time off, I'm having a break, I am having a break, so it is just perfect, perfect time to learn some English. So you may be having your break and may be sitting somewhere at a table or you may be sitting comfortably, comfortably, you may be sitting comfortably somewhere on the sofa or in your chair, in your chair and hopefully, hopefully, so I hope, hopefully you may be learning something new and something interesting, I hope.
It might not be your best day today. It may not be that special. Or it might be the best day of the year, the best day of your life. I have no idea. You may be thinking, you may be thinking, hmm, what am I going to do after listening, after listening?, what am I going to do?
Or you might be having your coffee, your midday coffee, your midday coffee and you might be wondering, you might be wondering, hmm, alright, I am listening to the podcast right now, but what is he doing? He's not recording. He may be recording, he might be thinking about the new episode. Yeah, he must be doing that, he must be doing that. He might be shopping, he might be shopping for clothes, yeah, he might be buying one of his umbrellas. Who knows, who knows, I can't tell you that.
So I might be wrong, I might be wrong, but you also might be doing those things. You might be. Anything's possible here.

Luke Likes 'Try It On'
Ok, what can I say? Let's try it on, try it on, or try them on, try them on, try them on. Let's go.
Shirt, I am looking for a shirt, I am looking for a shirt. Excuse me, excuse me, this one, this one is nice, this one is nice, I like this one. I think I will try it on, try it on, I want to try it on. Yeah, and? Hmm, a little too tight, I think it's a little too tight, so it doesn't fit. Oh, what size is it? What size is it? That's an S, an S, a small, that's an S. Can I have a medium? Can I have a medium? Oh, thanks.
Alright, alright, it feels good, it feels good, it's big enough, it's big enough. It's not too small, too small. Yeah, I'll take it, I'll take this one, thanks.
This time I need some shoes, I need some shoes. Maybe not tennis shoes this time. So can I try them on please? Can I try them on? I like those, I like those. Size ten, ten. Oh yeah, thanks, thanks a lot, thank you. Hmm, alright, they feel comfortable, feel comfortable. I don't think they are too tight, they are loose enough, loose enough but not too loose. I think I don't like this strap, strap over here, I don't like this strap. I can't live with this strap over here, I'm sorry. Do you have ones without a strap, without a strap.
Oh really? Oh, can I have a look? Can I have a look? Oh thanks, yeah, these ones are much better. Is that the same size? Yeah, they fit perfectly, fit perfectly. Yeah, I'll take those, I'll take those, thank you.
T-shirt, a plain one, a plain t-shirt. So I like those, I like those, and the price, on them and the price. Where are the fitting rooms? Where are the fitting rooms? The changing rooms. That's the same thing in English. Where are they? Can I try it on please? Can I try it on please? Yeah, alright. And how is it, how is it?
Wow, it's a medium, it's a medium, but it's too big, it's too loose, definitely, I don't like this fit, I don't like this fit. I like a smaller one, can I have a smaller one? Oh, alright, yeah, is that a smaller one? I don't know, I don't know, it somehow feels wrong, it feels wrong. I don't know what it is, but I don't think I'll take it, I don't think I'll take it, I think I'll try and find something else. So I will leave it, I will leave it, thanks.
How about these? How about these? They look nice, they look nice. Can I try them on? Can I try them on please? Yeah, the changing rooms are over there, yeah, thanks.
Is that a large, is that a large, because they fit me, they fit me. And it's a little strange, it's a little strange because I'm a medium, I'm a medium. Fine, feels fine, yeah, it fits me, and it goes well, it goes well with my jeans, it goes well with my jeans. I like the colour, I like the colour. Yeah, I'll take it.
So now I have my shirt, I also have my shoes, a nice t-shirt. What else do I need? What else do I need? Do you know what I need?
Can you guess? Can you guess? It's a special price, a special, special price, it's a bargain, it's a bargain, I have to have it, I really have to have it. I never buy it, but this time I will get it.
So, can I get this umbrella, please? Can I get this...? Oh, really? I get it for free?! I get it for free?! Yeah, I think this umbrella really, really suits me, really suits me. Yeah, I will take it then, I will take it.
Oh, spending money is so easy, always so easy.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'Wanna Go To The Gym?'
Hey, do you ever think, do you ever think, um, maybe I will go to the gym, maybe I'll go to the gym. Maybe I will start? That is not a bad idea, that is not a bad idea, but you do know, you do know what the most important thing is? You know, of course you know, it's your bag. It is your bag. You have to, you have to start with a bag.
So, first, buy a good, nice, fashionable, fashionable, nice fashionable bag. That's how you start. So you go to a sports shop, and that's sports apparel, apparel, clothes, apparel, sports apparel, you can get sports apparel, and also some stuff, sports stuff, like a bag, like a bottle, special bottle for water, and all kinds of things, all kinds of things. In English, kit or gear, kit, you get your kit or gear, you get your gear, sports kit, sports gear for the gym. So that's how you start.
But the bag is just the beginning. It is just the beginning. Also you get some sports shoes. Very, very, very expensive ones, very expensive ones. Super cool, super cool, fashionable. It's best when it's lightweight, lightweight shoes, super light, lightweight shoes, and it's best when it is promoted on some social media. That's how you do it. That's how you do it.
So you get those shoes, and the rest, the rest of sportswear, some leggings and special t-shirts. They are not really casual, casual clothes. Those are performance, performance clothes, so you can perform, you can get great results. Without that, you are nothing, you're nothing. You have to have it. Yeah. And then I suppose you are ready to go to the gym.
I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but it's like this with all the sports. I do tennis a little bit, and it's not different, it is not different. Oh my gosh, I have like probably ten pairs of different sports, tennis shoes, performance shoes, and they are all very similar, they are all very similar, but they tell me you need these shoes for this kind of, it's called in English surface, surface. So the surface of the ground you play on.
And of course, the rest of clothes, sportswear too. Oh, very important as well is the tennis bag to keep your gear, to keep your kit inside, kit, gear inside, like tennis rackets, balls, bottles, towels, and different kinds of bands, bands, so small little pieces you wear, you wear on your hands, on your head, like headbands, stuff like that. So sports apparel, sports apparel, gear, kit, all of that that comes with doing sport.
Alright, tennis or the gym, you might think, yeah, obviously I need that to be good at it and to perform to get the results, because it is a little maybe difficult without it. But the surprising sport for you can be running. Yeah, you think, I like running, I think I can do it, I can go out and just do it. But no, no, no, no, you cannot, you cannot do it just like that. First, of course, yeah, maybe not the bag, not the bag, but a lot of, a lot of gear, a lot of equipment, a lot of gear, a lot of stuff, a lot of apparel that is not just helpful, helpful, but it just looks good, it looks good. This is your lifestyle, this is your lifestyle. Because as they say, this is not just about the race, it is not just about the sport itself, it is not, it is about how you live your life every day, how you live your life every day.
I'm not so sure what they think of that, but I think I am the same, unfortunately, I am the same. Because it's just more fun this way, more fun. I don't always feel good about it, because it's a waste, it is a waste, and I sometimes feel bad about ten pairs of tennis shoes or basketball shoes, and different kinds of shirts, shorts, pants, hats, and different kinds of gear, but it is more fun this way, it is just, it is more fun, I don't know how it works. I think I'm just vain, I am just vain. Yeah, that's what I want to say. I'm vain, I do sport.
So maybe, I feel a little bit, a little bit guilty, guilty, so it means that I feel bad about what I am doing, I feel guilty. But at the same time, it helps me do it on and on and on. Because this way it's just more fun. It is, come on. Feels good. So, wanna go to the gym? Get the bag, get the bag.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'The One'
Yeah, the one, the one. Not two, not three, the one. Which one, exactly? Which one? So for example, the umbrella. Of course, obviously. The umbrella, the umbrella. A lot of, a lot of umbrellas, a lot of, I know, again, again.
So which umbrella exactly?
The long umbrella.
The short umbrella.
The big umbrella.
The small umbrella.
The umbrella with a long handle.
The umbrella with a short handle.
The umbrella with a straight handle.
The umbrella with a curved handle.
The blue umbrella.
The black umbrella.
The grey umbrella.
The umbrella.
A lot of, a lot of, a lot of umbrellas. The Umbrella Land. The Lmbrella Land. That's so great! Great English. Perfect. Anyway, anyway. How about no umbrellas? No umbrellas.
The one.
The long one.
The short one.
The big one.
The small one.
The one with a straight handle, handle, straight handle.
The one with a curved handle, curved handle.
The one that is over there.
The one that is over here.
Oh, and the cheap one.
The more expensive one.
And so on. And so on.
The one. The one and only. The one and only.
So the blue umbrella. The blue one.
The small umbrella. The small one.
Which umbrella? Which one?
That umbrella. That one.
The umbrella on the table. The one on the table.
Well. You might think, you might think that I'm the biggest, the biggest umbrella fan, I'm the biggest umbrella fan, on the planet, on the planet. In fact, in fact I do not have one, I do not have one. But it keeps coming back, it keeps coming back.
Okay. How about another one? This time, sunglasses. Need sunglasses.
Oh, which ones?
Which sunglasses?
Which ones?
Which ones?
The ones over here.
The ones over there.
The round ones.
The square ones.
The ones that you have.
The ones that you have.
No, no, not these ones.
Those ones.
Those ones.
Over there.
Those ones.
Yeah. Oh, those ones are too expensive.
I prefer these ones over here.
The ones that I like are black.
The ones that I like are black.
Yeah, sunglasses.
Hmm, alright. Hmm, ones. ones this time. It's ones, not one. Ones. Okay, hmm, so umbrella and sunglasses. That's a crazy combination that I actually, actually can use, I can use that.
Maybe another one, another one this time. Oh, I'm looking for my watch, I'm looking for my watch.
Which one?
Which one?
You know, this one.
Not this one.
That one.
Not that one.
You know, the one, the green one.
The green one.
The one that I use when I do sport.
The one, the one that I use when I do sport.
Not the, not the expensive one.
Not the expensive one.
The cheaper one.
The cheaper one.
Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. This one. This one.
Do you know, do you know where it is? You don't know. Obviously you don't know. Okay, I need to buy another one, I suppose. Another one. Yeah.
Okay, and the last one. The last one. Oh, it happens from time to time. Do you know where my shoes are?
My shoes.
Which ones?
Which ones?
You know, the cool ones.
The cool ones.
Yeah, not these ones.
The white ones.
The white ones. Not like that. Not like that.
Yeah, the ones that I use when I go for a walk.
The ones that I use when I go for a walk.
Oh, yeah, these ones, do you know?
Oh, thank you, thank you. Yeah, here they are. Here they are.
And so on. And the one. And the ones. The one. The ones. So cool English. I think, I might be wrong, I might be wrong, but I think, I think that it might be the easiest, the easiest episode so far, the easiest. Is it?
Maybe this one is. I don't know. It's just the one. And I hope it's not the only, the only one I hope. Okay, time for another one. Next time. Next time.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'Not Too Tight'
Well, I'm back, I'm back, and I'm pretty cold.I'm back and I'm pretty cold. I'm back from quite a long, quite a long, quite a long walk outside. Walk in the evening and it is cold. It is cold and it's raining.
I put on some warm clothes, but not very thick. Not very thick, quite thin. Thin because it is more comfortable that way, more comfortable. So I put on the sweatpants that are pretty thin, pretty thin, but also stretchy and flexible, pretty flexible. So I like those, I like those.
And a longsleeve that is a little warmer, warmer than just a t-shirt, just a t-shirt, but also quite comfortable and stretchy, flexible. And on top, on top of that, on top, I put on, I put on a windbreaker jacket which, which is not waterproof, not waterproof, unfortunately, but it's got a hoodie, a hoodie. And it is quite light not very heavy, quite light, so it is thin, it is thin, not thick. So not very warm, but I need this type of outfit, I need this type of outfit so thatI feel comfortable, comfortable.
Oh, and a hat, and a hat, a hat made of cotton, cotton, but just enough, just enough to keep my head warm, to keep my head warm. Unfortunately, I didn't take gloves, I didn't take the gloves with me, so my hands got pretty cold, got pretty cold. Next time I'll remember that, I'll remember that, definitely.
Yeah, so as you can see those clothes, those clothes are pretty casual, not very elegant, pretty casual because the comfort is the most important, the most important over here for me. And, hmm, I like those clothes to be narrow, narrow, not very wide, narrow. A little tight, I can say, not very loose, tight, because I feel best this way, I feel best this way.
But you know, that depends, that depends on the situation but if I am active like that, I am active like that I prefer clothes to be, well, in general, I have to say, in general, I have to say they are pretty narrow and tight, not too tight, not too tight. But close to the body, close to the body.
Yeah, and now I'm going out, I'm going out, and I need something a little less casual, less casual, also comfortable, maybe a shirt, a shirt, well, striped one, a plain one, without any pattern, without any pattern, well, checked shirt. A plaid shirt, a plaid shirt, maybe, but I think I prefer, I prefer a plain one, a plain shirt. And obviously, obviously, long-sleeved, long-sleeved shirt, a long sleeved shirt, not a short-sleeved shirt. To be honest, I don't really like those short-sleeved, short-sleeved shirts. I don't really like those.
And what else? A pair of jeans, obviously, a pair of jeans. Pretty casual, pretty casual, nothing special. Straight and narrow, obviously, narrow and straight. And sneakers, yeah, I do wear sneakers. Oh, and short, not long, short, short socks, short 'shocks', short socks, not 'sort shocks'. Not, not like that, not 'sort shocks', but short socks. Crazy English. Also need to put on those.
Comfortable shoes, comfortable sneakers, which are also very, very, very casual. Not high, high tops, high top, so high sneakers, but low, low-tops, low, low sneakers. I prefer those today, I suppose, today. And a coat, yeah, a coat. A pretty thick one, pretty thick one, pretty thick one, made of wool, made of wool. And a scarf, yeah, also made of wool, I suppose, but I would have to, I would have to check that. I'm not one hundred percent sure.
I think I'm done, I'm ready. Wow, I planned my outfit for today. Well, I'm ready to go. Are you? Hope I'm not going to get wet. I'm pretty sure I will.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'Would Wear'
I would wear it to the beach, I would wear it, I would, would would, I would wear it to the beach but I do not have one, I don't have the beach, I don't have the beach, so it is hard for me to say. But let's try and imagine I have this beach, there is a beach around, because there isn't.
So I would, I would, hmm, what would I wear, what would I wear to the beach? I would wear shorts, I would wear sunglasses because it's important to protect to protect, to protect the eyes, so yeah, I was where flip flops, flip flops on my feet, flip flops, and I also would wear a scarf, why not, let's put that on, put on a scarf. Why not.
Okay, hmm and now, to a fancy, fancy, elegant, fancy restaurant, to a fancy restaurant, I would whwear trousers. Oh yeah, good for you, good for you, well done, wearing trousers to a restaurant, good for you, good for you. No surprises. And I think I would wear a shirt and maybe a jacket, a jacket to go with, to go with the trousers, why not, and no I wouldn't, I wouldn't wear a jacket, I wouldn't, and maybe sneakers, I would wear sneakers, would I? I think I would, I don't know, would I? Maybe.
Alright, and hmm, what other places can I go to? Maybe to the mountains, to the mountains, to go skiing. I would wear a jacket, a warm winter jacket and gloves and a hat, boots, boots, winter boots, maybe trekking boots, and also I would put on, I would wear, hmm, a nice cardigan, cardigan, I would wear a cardigan. Yeah, that's me.
Okay, and to a wedding, to a wedding party, to a wedding ceremony, wedding, wedding, when people get married. I would wear a suit, a suit with a jacket and trousers, and a shirt, I would wear a shirt, nice elegant shoes, and socks obviously, socks, and maybe a vest, I would wear a vest, and a tie, or a bow tie, a bow tie, just a little different tie, and also I would wear, oh, I know, a helmet, I would wear a helmet, to a wedding, yeah.
Okay, and maybe one more. And to a gym I would put on sweatpants sweatpants, and also I would put on, I would wear, I would put on a t-shirt, a t-shirt, and maybe a longsleeve, a longsleeve if it is cold, if it is cold, and I would put on sports shoes, and socks, underwear as well, underwear, underwear as well, and also, and also I would put on, oh, a raincoat, a raincoat to the gym. That's me.
Okay. Sounds strange? You probably noticed, you can probably hear, you can hear that something isn't right over here. Every time something isn't right I'm sure you can see that. What is it?
Hmm, yeah, what would you wear? What would you wear? How about a casual t-shirt, a casual t-shirt, and maybe a pair of jeans, a pair of jeans, and I wouldn't wear socks, I would be barefoot, barefoot, without socks, and yeah, just, just a cup of hot green tea in my hand. I would do that to record, to record a new episode of the podcast. And I am, I am wearing that right now, I am. This is me.
And how about you? What would you wear, what would you wear to listen, to listen to the podcast? Something special? Probably not. No need for that, no need for that. Just relax and listen.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'King'
So, would you like to be the king? Would you like to be the king or the queen? Or the queen? The king or the queen? Would you like to be the king? And decide and decide what the rules are. What the rules are. Me? I don't know. I don't know. I guess yes. And I would like to say: You have to, You can. You should, or You don't have to do that,You can't, or You shouldn't.
But sometimes I think that's a lot of work. This is too much work. So sometimes yes, sometimes no. But let's play this game. Let's play this game, shall we? Shall we?
Okay, so the king says at a restaurant. At a restaurant.
You can eat obviously. Obviously you can do that. But you can't. You can't smoke. You should order food. I should leave a tip. I suppose yes, you should do that. Not everywhere, not everywhere. And you have to be quiet. You have to be quiet at a restaurant. Yeah, I'm the king, I say so.
And now at a party. At a party. What kind of a party is it? Okay, so it's a casual party, I guess. I say so because I'm the king. I say so. You have to have a lot of fun. You can drink but not too much. And you shouldn't, you shouldn't leave early. Because if you leave early, you leave the party early, it means you're not having fun. And why are you coming in the first place? So stay at home if you don't want to have fun. Stay at home. So you should have fun.
Alright. And now. Oh, that's funny. In prison. In prison. So the king says you can't go out. You can't go out. You should behave, obviously. You should behave. And so do what they tell you to do. Yeah, do what the king says. What I say. And you can read in prison. And you don't have to. You don't have to, don't have to, don't have to, oh, pay the rent. You don't have to pay the rent. So pay for your stay. At least not in cash. Yeah. That's what the king says.
Alright. And now. Oh, on a date. On a date. On a date. Okay.
You have to, you have to be on time. You have to be on time. I say so. I say so. You have to be on time. You should dress nicely. Nicely. Dress nicely. And you can, you can, you can, you can, you can have fun. You can have fun on a date. I don't really know what to say here. Yeah. I'm not the best king over here. Let's say those are the rules.
And maybe now you are in a museum, museum. And hmm, that's an easy one. You can't, you can't touch anything. You can't touch anything. You should be quiet. That's a museum. You should be quiet. You have to be curious. Curious. You have to be curious. You have to be interested. Yeah. And well, I think you, no, I say so. I say so. I'm the king, I keep forgetting. You can't eat. So don't eat over there. Don't eat.
Okay. I think I'm quite a good king. I'm quite a good king. I make a good king over here. So there is one more rule. You have to, you have to keep listening and keep learning. You have to, no, you don't have to. But certainly you can do that.
So yeah, go ahead, go, go, go. The king says so.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'Well, Dressed'
Well, dressed, well-dressed, well-dressed? Dressed, dressing, getting dressed, that's very, very confusing in English. It is confusing to get dressed in English, I suppose, get undressed, because you get dressed first, you get dressed, so you put on, put on your clothes and then you wear them, you wear them all day long, you take off your clothes, you get undressed and you want to dress nicely every day, every day. Very confusing, too many words and too many dresses. Dress is a very different thing.
So how about we clear this, clear this up a little, clear this up with a few personal questions?
Here we go, so question number one - do you think a lot about your outfit before you get dressed, get dressed in the morning?
So the question is very simple, I spend sometimes a little time, but mostly I try to spend as little as I can, so no I don't spend much time before I get dressed.Simple.
Question number two - do you put on special shoes around the house and do you take them off when you leave?
Put on your shoes, take them off. So no I don't put on special shoes around the house, I hate slippers, you might remember that I hate them, and I don't take them off, obviously I don't take them off. I do take off shoes around the house, yeah.
Alright, question number three - do you dress differently when you stay at home and when you leave your home, do you dress differently?
So, I do not do that, usually I try to pick, I try to pick the outfit for the whole day and usually I do not change, I do not change when I stay at home. So no, I do not, I do not dress differently at home and when I leave, but I do know that some people do it, some people do it. Personally I do not, I do not.
Question number four - do you have your favourite colour to wear? Do you have your favourite colour to wear?
I do, I do like everyone, like everyone, but also I try to wear some different colours when I feel differently, so yes and no. I think I didn't answer the question. That's alright. So I wear different colours, but usually that's blue, let's say my favourite colour to wear is blue.
And here is the last question, question five, very controversial - do women have better taste, better taste when it comes to fashion and clothes, wearing clothes?
Yes.Not that controversial, after all, after all, not that controversial.
So get dressed, put on your shoes, wear them around the house, take them off if you want and dress casually the whole week, that's the whole story.
Yeah, but remember, never take off your hat in winter, that's just unhealthy and dangerous. Yeah, remember that. Yeah, and wear a jacket. And don't forget to put on your boots, boots, yeah, winter boots. And the gloves, yeah, don't forget to put on the gloves. Oh, and the scarf, the scarf too, put on the scarf. Wear the sweater, all of that. Don't go out. You know, maybe just stay in by the fire, by the fireplace, stay in.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'On Men And Women'
Oh, it's late now. I'm pretty tired. I'm pretty tired. I have to say I am pretty tired, but I do have, I have my green tea. So I'm pretty happy too. I'm pretty happy and ready, ready. And I think I'm ready to get into trouble today. I think I'm ready to get into trouble because I thought, hmm, what do I talk to you about? What do I talk to you about today? Because I want to talk about clothes, about clothes.
Well, I have this little risky game, little risky gam. So it goes like that. I pick one item, a piece, an item of clothes, and I decide, is it for men? Is it for women? How about this? How about this? Let's play and let's get into trouble. With that, I'm sure I will get into a lot of trouble because of that. And that's so great, I love trouble. Let's go.
Oh, here is the first one. That's sweats, sweats, sweatshirt, or sweatpants. That's for men. Yeah, I would say that's for men. Obviously women too, but yeah, I would say that's for men. I have sweats. I do wear that from time to time. That is very, very casual for me, casual, but I do. So it's decided, for men, for men.
Oh, here is another one. That's going to be so controversial, controversial because it's pants or trousers, pants, trousers. Definitely for men. Definitely. Yeah, for women too.
Let's go with another one. Another one. Oh, I have to admit, I have to say, I have to admit that I think I have just one right now. I had a few, but now I have just one. It's a tie, a tie. And that one is for men. Obviously for men.
Yeah, right, and here is shirt. Well, I am wearing a shirt right now. I have to say this is for men, for men, for women, is this a blouse? Yeah, I suppose so. But for me, shirt, that's men. Mostly, obviously.
Alright, are you upset already? Are you upset already with what I am saying right now? I'm sure you are. I'm looking forward to your messages. I'm looking forward to your messages. I'm looking forward to your comments. Oh my God. What is he talking about? I'm wearing pants right now and I'm not a man.
That one is good. That's slippers. Slippers. Is it for men? Is it for women? I can always say both, but I don't want to say that. I want to be controversial. This is internet. We want to be controversial. I'm gonna say women. I don't have slippers. To be honest, I hate those. I hate those. So no, that's for women. I would say slippers for women, not for men.
Oh, and this is not an item of clothes. This is maybe more like accessories because this is a ring. And I really want to say that's for men but I would more associate, associate that with women and accessories in general, accessories in general with women. So I'm going to say that's women, not men.
And with another one, I don't think I'm going to be too controversial, but who knows, who knows. So here is a dress. A dress. Is it for men or is it for women? Yeah, that's for women and I don't have a dress, I suppose. Yeah, that's all I want to say about that.
Oh, that's an interesting one. Leggings. Leggings. That's for women, but my siblings do a lot of running and I'm pretty sure they own those. Women. That's it. Women.
Alright, and that's tights. Oh, that's tights. Oh my god, that would be so funny if I had ones. Tights are for women. They go perfectly, they go well, they go well with a dress. So women, it is women, for women.
Alright, I could go on and on with that, with this little risky game. So, as I said before, I'm going to get into trouble and I'm looking forward to your messages, to your messages. Yeah, and now I'm going to put on my dress. Why not?
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'When I Die'
I have to, I have to, I have got to, I really have to, definitely, yeah, right now, I have to, I have to do this, I have to do that, I have to, I have to, I really, really have to. Wow, so a lot of things that I have to do, a lot of stuff.
I have to get ready for tomorrow, get ready for tomorrow. Definitely, I have to do that. I have to print, print some materials, print some materials for my students. Oh, what else, what else? I have to revise, revise, look one more time, revise my languages, my languages, I have to revise what I am learning.
Oh, I also have to eat, that's a good idea to eat, I have to eat. But not yet, not yet because I still have to, ah, yeah, I have to read those emails I got, I have to read those emails. And then, well, I have to, oh yeah, walk my dog, I have to walk my dog. I don't have to do that every day, fortunately, fortunately but today it is my turn. I have to walk the dog, and then I also have to feed him, feed him, it's a he, I have to feed him.
Then, I have to pack my things, pack my things, my stuff for tomorrow because I have to start early tomorrow, I have to start early tomorrow and I will not have enough time to do that. Well, I have to clean up a little bit, clean up, yeah, that's a good idea. I have to clean up a little bit also.
And, oh yeah, I just remembered, I just remembered, I have to do laundry, do laundry, do the washing. Also, oh yeah, oh, I don't like that really because I have to get ready, and I have to iron, iron my shirt for tomorrow, I have to iron my shirt.
Oh, and I have to do a lot, I have to do a lot. And we all have to do stuff like that. I can imagine, I can imagine a day when I don't have to do stuff, I don't have to wake up early, I don't have to run, run and start work and be in a lot of places. And I can imagine that I don't have to be in a hurry and I don't have to get ready with things. And I don't have to think about many problems.
Yeah, that's nice. And maybe that's a good idea to think that the only thing I have to do is rest and relax. How about that? That I have to rest and I have to relax, stop thinking about problems, and I have to stop worrying about stuff, and I have to enjoy myself a little bit. Yeah, that's not a bad idea, I have to start doing that.
But now I have to do stuff.
So as my mum says, yeah, she always says, I will rest when I die, I will rest when I die. Now I have to do stuff. So I have to do stuff as well, I have to do stuff as well. So, me too, I will rest when I die, but now, now, I really, really have to record a new episode, a new episode of the podcast. Absolutely, definitely have to do that right now.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'I Sell'
Yeah, sometimes I sell, I sell things. I should sell, I should sell things. So I don't always buy stuff, but sometimes it is a good idea, it is a good idea to sell things so that you don't have too much, too much. Because, hmm, less is sometimes more, less is sometimes more, as they say, less is more. And I think so too, I think so too.
So it is a good idea to get rid of, get rid of, get rid of some items, some things. And for me it is a lot of things, I have to say, a lot of things. Probably too many, too many. So first of all, first of all, too many clothes, too many clothes. Of course we buy and buy and buy another one, another one and another one.
For example, t-shirt and for example shoes. So I can sell, I can sell a few, a few pairs of shoes, a few pairs of shoes. Sports shoes, yeah, that is definitely too many, too many. And other things like that.
There are a lot of ways to do that right now. Online, online platforms, online platforms for selling second hand, used, second hand items, products. And that's great, that's great because I don't use them, I don't use them but somebody can use them. I think this is perfect. It's a win-win. I get some money for that because I sell it and the other one, the other one, the other person can still get it at a discount, at a discount, because it is used and usually, usually this is just a small part of a price, the original price. Perfect.
What else can I sell? Only my things, only my things. Not other people's things, I don't do that. Probably I could sell some books, I could sell some books. I don't usually do that, I usually buy books and very often used books, used books. Because I believe this is a little, a little waste of money if you buy a new one, especially, especially when it comes to, when it comes to language books, language books, for English, for other languages. You can use it if it is not new. And I recommend it.
The biggest, the biggest and the most expensive things are probably things around the house, which are not that easy to sell, not that easy. Pieces of furniture, yeah, I could do that too, some decorations I don't need and maybe I'm a little bored with, I am bored, they are not interesting anymore and small items like a lamp, like a frame and some small devices, devices like headphones and chargers and stuff like that, stuff like that.
And to be honest, to be honest, I don't do that as much as I would like to. I just don't think about it too often but maybe that should be one of my resolutions for this year.
Really, would you like to get some of my stuff? Please contact me. No, no, no, it's a joke. But yeah, that's a good idea. Give stuff a new life. Give stuff a new life. Don't waste and help the planet a little bit. Help the planet just a little bit.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Can you recommend, can you, can you recommend some good wine? Yeah, red wine please. red wine, red wine. And I am looking for dry, not sweet, not sweet, dry wine. Oh, that's a good one, that's a good one. Where is it from? Where is it from? From Hungary. Oh, right, alright. New to me, that is new to me. I can try that one, I can try that one please. So I have my wine and I have some other needs too. Yeah, I need this thing right now. I need this thing. Yes please, yes please. You can help me, you can help me. So I am looking for, oh, I can't remember the name. I can't remember the name. You know, I have this bottle and I don't know what the name is. What is the name? What is the name? I want to open the bottle. So I need this thing. No, no, no, it's not an opener. No, no, because it has, it's wine and it has this cork over there. I think it is cork, but I don't know. What is it called, this opener Yeah, corkscrew, corkscrew. So you have a corkscrew please. Oh yeah. Oh, that's so great, that's so great. My weekend is not ruined, thanks a lot.
Yeah, sometimes I can't find the right word. I can always check that I can always try and practice English this way. And what's next? Yeah, bread. I need some bread over here. Yes, please, yes, please. Can I get two big baguettes? Two baguettes. Yes, these ones, the large ones, the large ones. Yeah, the large ones, please. That's terrific. And do you think I can get some olive oil around here, olive oil? I need some olive oil, I'm out. I am out. I don't have any left. Oh, really, that's so great. That is so great. Thanks, thanks a lot. Yeah, and I need a bag with that. Yes, please. Thank you.
Alright, I'm almost there.I need just one thing, one thing. Yeah, I need new earbuds. I need some earbuds like that, because mine are broken. Do you have any you can recommend to me? You can recommend. Yeah, these ones are a little too expensive. I need something simple, simple. How about these? Yeah, these ones are perfect. I think, yeah, I'll take those. I'll take those. Can I pay by credit card? Yeah, thank you. Thank you very much.
That went quite smooth, smooth, so easy. And I'm ready for the weekend. I have my earbuds. I have my snacks, baguettes. And also a corkscrew which I can use to open the bottle of wine. And I'm ready for my date. the weekend date with a podcast in the evening. Weekend date. I can't wait. It will be lovely.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

The Focus of the Episode is on the WILL construction in English
Luke Likes 'Magic 8 Ball'
Yeah, so I am wondering, I am wondering what I will do, what I will do this coming year, what I will do. You know that I will not follow the resolutions, I will not follow the resolutions. But what will happen? I want to know that, I do want, I want to know that. And I am sure you would like to know that too.
And there is a way, there is a way to see and find out, find out. Let's ask, let's ask the crystal ball, let's ask the crystal ball what will happen, what will happen this coming year. Let's do it.
So, my crystal ball, my crystal ball. Can you hear it? My crystal ball, magic 8 ball, magic, it's magic crystal ball, will tell me the future. So, magic 8 ball, magic 8 ball. I want to know this, I want to know this. Will I leave work, not leave, will I finish work early, will I finish work early on Friday? Will I finish work early on Friday? Please tell me. Okay, 'A definite yes, a definite yes'. It means, yeah, you will, you will, that's so great.
Okay, so I have another one. Magic 8 ball, magic 8 ball, will I win, will I win something special, special this coming year? Magic 8 ball, please tell me, will I, will I win? Okay, I have it, I have it. 'I have my doubts, I have my doubts'. It means, it means, I am really, really not so sure, I am not so sure, I have my doubts. So probably I will not, I won't win anything, it's not a surprise really, it isn't, I don't win things, and I won't win things this coming year, anything, nothing.
Alright, and now, magic 8 ball, will I, will I work late, will I work late at the weekend, will I work late? Please tell me. Yeah, of course, 'Probably, probably'. Yeah, probably I will, I will, probably I will, no surprises here as well, no surprises.
Here is the next one. So I am waiting for a parcel, I am waiting for a delivery, a parcel, delivery, and it is not coming, it is not coming, and, so magic 8 ball, will it arrive, will it arrive, will it come, will it come tomorrow, will it come tomorrow, finally? 'Who knows, who knows' . Okay so, I don't know, but maybe it will, maybe not, maybe it won't, maybe it will, maybe it won't come, we will have to, we will have to see, we will have to wait, and see, will, will, will.
Alright, oh here is a good one, here is a good one, so magic 8 ball, will I travel to another continent, will I travel to another continent, this coming year, this coming year, will I travel to another continent? 'Forget about it, forget about it'. That's what the ball tells me, so I will have to wait, I will have to wait, and not this year, I won't travel to another continent. That's a shame, that's a shame, but okay, I have to live with that, I have to live with it.
Alright, so it is time to ask the magic 8 ball something about the weather. We have winter right now, and I would love to, I would love to know if the winter will be long, if the winter will be long. Everyone wants to know that, I'm sure everyone wants to know that, I will tell you in a second, wait. Magic 8 ball, will the winter, this coming year, be very long? 'Forget about it'. Yeah, that means it will not, it won't be very long, it will be short.
Oh, I wonder if it will be in March, or maybe February, maybe the end will come in January, Yeah, I have to say, I hope so, I hope so, but we will have to wait. Do you know what will happen for you, do you know? You can always ask the fortune teller, the magic, magic, magic 8 ball.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'In Need'
Yeah, I'm in need right now, I am in need, I need stuff, so let's go shopping, let's go shopping right now.
So let's start with the street market, street market. Because it is raining, it is raining, I need an umbrella.
Eexcuse me, how much is this umbrella, please? How much is it?How much is it? This one, this one over here? The bigger one? Yeah, it is more expensive, I see. And can I have the red one, the red one? Yes, over here, this one, this, yeah, yeah, can I have the red one please? So how much is it? Okay, so I will take two, I will take two, do I get a discount now if I take two? Oh that's fine, that's fine, that's great, that is great. It's a deal, it's a deal, thanks a lot.
So I have an umbrella, actually two. So here is another one, another one.
Oh, so that is not really shopping but a thing to do, a complaint, a complaint, I have to make a complaint, a return, return to the shop,
So hello, hello. So I have this microphone stand, I have this microphone stand and it is broken, it is broken, it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Here you go, here you go. Yeah, so I would like to return it, I would like to return it. Yeah, so what are you going to do? Do I get a refund, do I get a refund? Or do I return it and get another one, get another one? What are you going to do about it?
Okay, here is the receipt, here is the receipt. Yeah I think I would like a refund, I would like a refund. Yeah, thank you, thank you very much, thank you.
That was quite easy, quite easy. Here is another one.
Alright and now I think I need, I need some cash, some cash. So here is the ATM, here is the ATM, a cash machine, cash machine. Okay so I need to insert, insert the card, insert and now okay, enter your PIN, enter your PIN, your number, code, PIN, okay and that's it and accept, cancel, so accept and confirm, confirm, that's right and take the receipt, take the receipt, okay and take your card back, take your card back, that's it,
Okay I have my cash and my card and the receipt, I'm ready to buy a ring,
Hi Peter, my friend! Hi Peter, my friend! Yeah, I'm here and I'm looking for, I'm looking for a gold ring, I'm looking for a gold ring, I need a gold ring. Yeah, for a gift, for a gift, a gold ring and I think you could help me, you could help me choose. Please help me choose. I can't do that without you. Please help me.
What do you recommend, what do you recommend? It is all beautiful, beautiful, it's a beautiful collection, I have to say, but very expensive, that's all very expensive. Oh, that one, that one is nice, that one is nice. Can I have a look? Can I take a look, have a look at that one please? Can I have a look at that one please? Yeah, that one is beautiful. How much is it? Okay, alright, that's reasonable, reasonable. That's perfect, that's perfect. What do you think, Peter? What do you think? Yeah, I think I will take that one, I'll take that one. I'll pay cash, I'll pay cash.
So a lot of needs, a lot of shopping, a lot of stuff to get, but it isn't the end of needing and spending.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

So, I watch this video, I watch this video on YouTube, I watch this video on YouTube about, you know what, you know, New Year's resolutions, New Year's resolutions, things that you want to do this new coming year, and yeah, be better, be better.
And one of those things, one of those things, one of those things is limit, limit your screen time, okay? I am watching YouTube about limiting, limiting, reducing screen time.
This is funny, it's really funny.
Yeah, a lot of those New Year's resolutions. For example, do more exercise, do more exercise, you want to do that.
Quit smoking, read more books, read more books you want to be educated, you want to be educated, learn more, learn more, learn a new skill.
And obviously, lose weight, you just have to, you have to lose weight, we all have to lose weight, and you also have to work better, be more effective, more effective.
And this coming year, you want to travel more, you want to visit places, meet new people, have new experiences.
And while you are doing that, you also want to be a better person, a better man, a better woman, a better father, mother, worker, student, anyone.
And never put off things. Just do it right now, you are a robot and you want to do that right now, and you also want to save money and just be perfect every day.
Oh my God. That never works, that never works, it doesn't work, does it? So yeah, try, try to do that, great, and fail, you want to do that, you fail, that's great.
So how about a new idea, you will not fail those. How about that?
This coming year, try, try, and don't, don't do more exercise, just think about it and then, maybe not, maybe not today, maybe, maybe tomorrow. Okay, so just try, try and don't do that.
If you smoke, just go ahead, go ahead, smoke. One day you don't want to do that, just stop, but if you want to do that, just keep doing this, keep doing this, how about this?
And read more only, only, if you like it, because why would you do that if you don't like reading? Just watch something, watch more Netflix, that's your new resolution. Do you watch a lot of TV series, do you watch a lot of TV series? Just keep doing that, have some fun, enjoy it, you will never fail, you will never fail.
And hey, you want to just stay at home and enjoy yourself and don't organize your holiday, because everyone wants you to do that? Just relax, you don't have to travel, you don't have to travel, if you don't want that, just stay at home.
Watch, I don't know, a documentary, documentary, why not? Read a book about it, if you like, if you like, you don't have to travel, you don't, you really don't have to do that, if you don't like it.
And be a better person. Well, maybe, maybe you are good enough, you are good enough, maybe you are good enough as it is right now, and say, well, I'm quite good right now, maybe I don't have to change that. So try, try really, really hard, and don't change that this coming year.
And maybe one more thing, one more thing. Please, try, try, and don't lose weight, don't lose weight this coming year, try and do that, just enjoy yourself, enjoy yourself. It is really hard, it is really hard.
So how about this coming year we all get fat and be happy. Happy New Year!
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'Like A Box Of Chocolates'
Yeah, life is like a box of chocolates, like a box of chocolates. Do you know that? Do you know that life is like a box of chocolates, a box of chocolates? You never know what you're gonna get, you never know what you're gonna, you're gonna, you are going to get. You never know.
I do know, I do know, because I always make a list, a list of things, a list of things, of, a list of things to buy, a shopping list. A lot of, a lot of, a lot of, a lot of things to buy. A box of chocolates, yeah, a box of chocolates too, on the list, and plenty of, plenty of, a lot of, plenty of other things, plenty of other things to buy.
What do we have over here on the list?
A carton, a carton of milk, a carton of milk. How about two, how about two cartons? Alright, check.
And what else? Oh, here you go, a tin, a tin, a tin of green peas, green peas, or a tin of, a tin of corn, a tin of corn.
Also, a bar, a bar of, a bar of chocolate, a bar of chocolate.
And oh, also, a bar of chocolates, and a bar of soap, how about this? It's very, very different, please don't confuse them, a bar of soap and a bar of chocolate.
How about a packet, a packet of tea, a packet of tea?
And a bottle of water, a bottle, a bottle, of, of, of, of, of, a bottle of water.
I need a bottle of olive oil, olive oil, that's right.
I don't need a packet of cigarettes, I don't need that, I don't smoke, thank you.
I need a jar, a jar of jam, of course, favourite, a jam, strawberry, strawberry, strawberry jam, a jar of jam, a jar of, of, of jam, a jar of jam.
And a jar of honey, obviously, honey, obviously. Where is this? Here it is, check, okay, I have it.
Then I need a bag, a bag of potatoes, a bag of potatoes, a kilo of potatoes, that's enough, a kilo of potatoes.
And also a tube, a tube of toothpaste, a tube of, of, of, a tube of, a tube of toothpaste, here it is.
And oh, obviously, I need a tub, a tub, a tub of ice cream, like a packet, a tub of ice cream, ice cream, pistachio ice cream would be nice.
Then I also need a carton, a carton of orange juice, orange juice, here it is.
And maybe, maybe, I need a pot, a small pot, a cup, a pot of yogurt, yogurt, here it is.
What else? Okay, that's not the end, not the end. I also need a slice of cheese, a slice, not a slice, a piece of cheese, a few slices, a few slices of cheese.
And a loaf of bread, a loaf, one big loaf of bread. Love it.
And maybe two apples, two apples.
And a bunch of, a bunch, a bunch of bananas, and I'm done, I'm done, yeah.
Maybe, maybe one lottery ticket, yeah, maybe one lottery ticket. Because life is like a box of chocolates, remember? Life is like a box of chocolates.
Maybe it is, after all. I will see, I will see, what I'm gonna get, what I'm gonna get,
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!

Luke Likes 'I Buy It'
OK, so from time to time, I do, I do, I buy it. I buy it, and from time to time, I return it. I return, I buy, and I take it back to the shop. Because I am not happy with the product, I am not happy with the product.
Sometimes I buy it, and I don't really get it, I don't really get it. And that's really, really, really disappointing, disappointing. So I'm disappointed, disappointed.
It isn't this week, it isn't this week. It was last week and I need, I need a new mic stand, mic, what's the name? Oh, arm, boom arm. But it's a stand, a new mic, microphone stand.
So what do I do? What do I do? Of course, I go online, online shopping. So I choose the right one. Perfect, beautiful, new stand. And what do I see? The price is good, the price is good. And the delivery is from two to five days, the delivery. So I will get it after two to five days, working days, working days.
And that's not good, that's not good because of Christmas. And I need it, of course, obviously, obviously, I need it before Christmas. I want my mic stand, I want my mic stand.
So I go out and visit my local shop and think I can find it and I can choose it over there. And I have it before Christmas, before Christmas. So I go and ask this shop assistant, 'hey, do you have this stand? I'm looking for this specific stand, I need it'. And she says, 'hmm, I will check it, I will check it.'
So she goes on her little computer and she is searching for the product. And she tells me, 'yeah, we don't have it right now, we can order that for you.' Yeah, sure, when do I get it? 'Yeah, you can get it from two to five days.' Plus it is 20% more expensive, it is 20% more expensive. Oh no, oh no, thank you, thank you. 'Thanks anyway, thanks anyway', that's what I say, thanks anyway.
Oh my, okay, but it is not the end, it is not the end. So the delivery is again, two to five days, it's too long. I come back home, I come back home and the next day I check online again. I check again the website, the website, thesame, same website.
What do I see? What do I see? Delivery guaranteed, guaranteed, before Christmas. Order now, order now and pick up, pick up, so you can get it, you can pick it up at the local shop, in one hour, in one hour.
And then I think this is perfect, I order now and I go back to the shop. Maybe the next day, it's okay, I can give them one day. I come back to the shop the next day, just before Christmas. And what happens?
Hmm, okay, so in English this is this fantastic phrase, this fantastic phrase, so 'it turns out', it turns out, so it happens, so you are all surprised, you are surprised, it turns out, it turns out I still don't have it. I still, after five days, I still don't have it. The shop doesn't have it, the website doesn't have it. Nobody has it. I feel so disappointed.
I don't know what to say. And I think I don't buy it again. I don't need the stand, the mic stand. I'm okay with my old stand. I am over this, I am over this. So I have enough, I am disappointed. I am not buying that.
Oh, I'm sure you have the same experience. You have the same experience, especially before Christmas. Yeah, but what can you do? What can you do? Nothing. Oh.
Well, it's your turn now. Embrace the day, people!
