As teenagers and young adults (or even older adults!) there's a lot of pressure to fit in and we can worry that sharing our Christian faith will make us look weird. But is evangelism weird, or can it be completely normal and authentic?
Join Hannah and Chris as we chat to Emma Taylor (Xplore) and Dan Randall (Amplify) about their weird traits, why sharing faith doesn't have to be weird, and how evangelism can actually be exciting, authentic and natural... and something you can do at any age!

When we meet someone for the first time, we ask their name, and then what they 'do' - a student? a teacher? a waiter? a full-time parent? in-between jobs?
It can often feel like what we do (or how people see us) defines us. But that is unlikely to be the core of our identity and who God says we are.
Andy Wilson candidly chats to Hannah and Chris about how he's had to shake off labels others have put on him and replace them with his God-given identity.
We also discuss the importance of calling out God-given potential in others, and how we can work out our own identity in a helpful and authentic way.

Trigger warning: discussion of racist experiences. Race, Racism, Racist slurs.
This is part 2 of our episode talking about race, racism, and the church. If you haven't already listened to part 1, we'd really recommend you start there.
Listen as Hannah talks to Lusa Nsegna-Ngoy (Diocese of Leicester's BAME Mission and Ministry Enabler and Church Army Board member) about his powerful spoken word poem in response to George Floyd's murder, as well as his hopes for the church moving forward to become a more interracial church.
There's a point to pause if you want to listen in two sittings, but do keep listening as Hannah chats to Collette Dorgu (Church Army Evangelist in Training). Collette shares some of her good and bad experiences of race and the church, and why fighting racism will mean more people feel able to be part of the church.

Trigger warning: discussion of racist experiences. Race, Racism, Racist slurs.
The news headlines and social media may not be so full of Black Lives Matters marches and stories anymore, but at Church Army we know that fighting racism is a movement not just a moment. It's so important to hear from people who have experienced racism and start to discuss together how we can bring about change.
Join Chris and Hannah as they open up the conversation about race with Andrena Palmer and Vee Pinto, black women who are part of the Church Army community. We talk about what the phrase 'Black Lives Matter' means, and Andrena and Vee share their own experiences of racism. This conversation is very moving at times, but their stories are so important to hear.
This is part 1 of 2 of our episodes discussing race and the church.
