PodCast Turismo & Património foi pensado como área de reflexão e de investigação sobre a relação entre turismo e património numa dinâmica de “sentimento de lugar” e numa perspetiva de território e comunidade. Aborda campos disciplinares para os que se interessam por esta(s) temática(s) e sobretudo para os estudantes do curso de licenciatura em Turismo e Gestão do Património Cultural do Instituto Politécnico de Tomar. Na contemporaneidade a relação/simbiose entre turismo e património radica no entendimento do turismo enquanto força de proteção e valorização patrimonial. Entra-se na discussão que abrange o turismo sustentável na ótica da capacidade que as dinâmicas turísticas promovem em termos de inclusão das comunidades locais e dos testemunhos (materiais e imateriais) da ação humana, contribuindo para a salvaguarda e valorização do património em prol do desenvolvimento sustentável do território.
