consistency is a love language is such an intimate + powerful statement. the way that we are willing to show up for ourselves (and others) paints a beautiful picture that words often just cannot. we are in constant communication with ourselves at all times, whether we are aware of it or not. we're unconsciously sending messages to ourselves about what we are orare not willing to do in the name of love. these unspoken messages shape our relationship with ourselves. it shapes our self-esteem as well as our trust in ourselves— affecting the way that we take up space in this world.

creativity is something that is thought of as belonging to select individuals. but the truth is, we are all creators. everything that we can (and cannot) see, was crafted by divine. by source. by god energy. so creativity is inherently apart of each and every one of us. it’s woven into the nuances of everyday life. even when you think you aren’t creating, you are creating. when you breathe. when you move your body. when you have a conversation. when you write. when you cook. when you laugh. you are collaborating with the universe and everyone and everything else that exists within it.
while we are all creatives, we are all individual beings with unique experiences and perspectives. therefore, no one that exists will ever be able to do something the way that you will do it. originality and authenticity is a beautiful result of being deeply connected to your soul. in the age of aquarius, so much knowledge, information, and tools are accessible to us—which i’m so grateful for. with the accessibility, the one thing that remains inaccessible to the rest of the world is you. your mind. your authenticity. you are your greatest asset. now is the time to be yourself more than ever. we desperately need you to be you. we are rooting for you.

letting go is such an essential component of nature's law. it's required for change. for evolution of any kind. yet— as humans, we tend to hold on to things a lot longer than we need to rather than simply experiencing it, feeling it, and allowing it to be freed. in my personal journey, this act of resistance has created a lot of spiritual warfare, cognitive dissonance and what outright felt like stagnation. through the practice of surrendering to flow, joy has revealed itself. peace has revealed itself. contentment has revealed itself. abundance has revealed itself. i've developed a deep innerstanding that the pieces fall where they belong with a little bit of flow and a whole lot of trust. 🖤

so many times i've found myself measuring the quality of not only my day but the quality of my life by the degree of an emotion. even further, i've sometimes found myself identifying with not only an emotion but with an experience— confusing myself, my worth, my whole ass being with the experience itself. and while our big brains are doing it's best to protect us + help us endure challenge, it often ends up doing the exact opposite. the truth is, we are a separate entity from our experiences. awareness of this truth has helped the both of us experience all the richness that life has to offer (emotions included) without attaching or identifying to any of it. we've become grounded enough in our experiences to allow ourselves to be human but also connected enough to Divine to allow our spirits + souls to remain infinite, abundant + open to all that this experience has to offer.

I realized a little while ago that I existed in a state of urgency, in a mental space— naturally affecting other areas of my being. Once I came to this realization, I intentionally created practices and philosophies that reduce urgency and allow me to return to a state of mindfulness, peace, and calm. I refer to this way of being as the art of no urgency. These practices are slowly but surely allowing me to return to myself.
