Since the pandemic, Scarlett Johnson noticed a stark difference in what her children were being taught – as lessons seemed to shift from focusing on common core to controversial social views. In response, Scarlett banded together with Wisconsin's Moms For Liberty chapter, ultimately becoming the organization's chair and taking to social media to share why she disagrees with decisions made at her children's school. Little did she know sharing her opinions on her personal accounts would lead to her fighting a defamation lawsuit.
Today, Scarlett joins Sean and Rachel to discuss why she's being sued for speaking her mind, what ideologies she believes are negatively impacting children in Wisconsin and across the country, and how parents can take action if they too believe their kids aren't being taught lessons that align with their values.

Various polls show that more Black and Hispanic voters are favoring former President Donald Trump over President Biden as their pick in the 2024 Presidential Election. When the former President headed uptown to the South Bronx, a traditionally Democratic and predominantly Hispanic neighborhood in New York City -- the turnout seemed to overwhelmingly reflect that.
The Duffys share their thoughts on former President Trump's campaign rally in the South Bronx and why the once deeply blue neighborhood is getting sprinkled with hints of red.

After Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker gave a commencement speech at Benedictine College, a private Catholic university in Atchison, Kansas, the internet had quite a bit to stay. In response to the heat he faced for voicing his traditional values, the NFL released a statement clarifying Butker's views "are not those of the NFL as an organization," saying, "The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.” With many thoughts on the matter, the Duffys are here to share why they believe understanding the context of Butker's commencement speech is crucial before judging it and whether they think the NFL's statement was appropriate.

So, what happens when the child, who's dedicated their entire life and identity to this sport, ultimately gives it up?
Author of Family Unfriendly: How Our Culture Made Raising Kids Much Harder Than It Needs to Be and father of six, Timothy Carney provides insight on how he believes modern society is placing unrealistic pressure on both parents and children, making parenting much harder than it needs to be (and creating highly anxious families).
