Snatched Entertainment is a premier Boston based Event Planning company ran by Lauren Cameron. Lauren is a Jamaican native but has since lived and successfully completed her undergraduate degree at the Suffolk University Sawyer Business School and has been producing events since 2008 with a full working knowledge and background in the entertainment and hospitality industry. Lauren has taken over the Boston Nightlife Industry by storm, an industry completely dominated but the men. Ana Masacote is an award-winning Latin dance specialist, educator, and womanpreneur who passionately believes that through dance, we can facilitate social change within communities. She is a co-founder and partner of Masacote Entertainment and has spread the salsa bug to more than 30 countries across five continents. Ana is also the producer and executive director of Yo Soy LOLA, a movement to reclaim the Latina narrative through artistic platforms and a scholarship initiative for Latinx MA artists, and the founder of Dance to Power, LLC, an online Afro-Latin dance academy dedicated to educating and uplifting womxn and allies around the world through Afro-Latin dance.
Ana was a recipient of the 2015 New England Salsa Music Award for lifetime achievement in dance, an alumna of the 2015 Goldman Sachs 10KSB National Program, a recipient of the SBA’s MA Minority-Owned Business of the Year Award, and holds a bachelor's in Management Science from MIT in Cambridge. She began her formal dance training with folkloric dance at age 5 and Salsa at age 15, and she has been a judge and guest of honor at salsa competitions and festivals worldwide.

Michael Piña, or just “Piña”, is a Latinx LGBTQ+ Member of the Latin Dance Community. He made his way into the community as a part of Tina Cavicchios, Next Level Dance Company. A team that breaks boundaries and believes in the inherent dignity and ability of every person. Through this team, he was able to be regarded for his energy, facial expressions and journey. As he continues to navigate his dance experience, he brings his transforming self and journey to the dance floor, as a beginner with a passion for movement. His experiences as a person in long term addiction recovery, being a cis-gender queer male follow, and losing over 200 pounds shape his journey; which he shares through his social media platforms. Most recently, his journey has taken himself to Los Angeles from Boston with a mind and heart full of dreams. Getting to know Piña is getting to know the journey and “Trusting the Process”. A humble and natural comedian, who loves to make people laugh. He was born and raised in New York City, but his parents where born in the Dominican Republic. Gadiel is a comedian that makes observational humor and as well as family humor. He aspires to one day perform in Madison Square Garden. Gadiel not only performs standup, but he also makes comedy videos posts them on his Instagram and Facebook.When Gadiel was a he was a teenager he saw the Chris Rock: Bigger and Blacker HBO special, at that moment he realized he wanted to do stand up, but he never had the courage to get up on stage and perform. Gadiel had to deal with stage fright through out High School and College. Gadiel’s stage fright was so bad that his voice would crack, knees, and hands would shake vigorously. In 2013, Gadiel worked up the nerve to get on stage and perform for the first time at the comedy palace in San Francisco. Gadiel’s first stand up was surprisingly great and he decided to continue to perform. In Fusion Podcast Episode 7 he talks about his journey from the Navy to stand up comedy, to now creating content and enjoying his life making others laugh. In this episode he also shares his passion about Music and Dancing.

Bio: Jenna, a Malden middle school teacher, combines her passion for teaching with her passion for dance to create a contagious desire to learn and grow. Her most recent accomplishment was winning 1st Place with her Salsa team, Mambo Revelation, at the World Salsa Summit in Miami. Jenna & Luis direct Boston’s largest Bachata team, Boston Touch, which is a part of the Island Touch Dance Academy Franchise. In addition to their weekly studio classes, they can be found traveling across the country to teach and perform at various congresses, organizations, and universities.

In this Episode Angelica talks about her early life, Her upbringing, Her time in college, Her passion for honoring her feelings and how it has helped her achieve her goals. And how finding someone who was aligned with her vision now has been able to combine her passion for helping people through dance and movement. Angelica is a Queer Xicana Femme from Los Angeles, CA. She earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts with a minor in Psychology from Arizona State University. In 2013 she earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Drama Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco.
In August 2011, she moved to San Francisco for her graduate studies in Drama Therapy (an embodied approach that is active and experiential). She has worked with a few non-profit organizations in the Bay Area, providing Mental Health services/consultation at various schools and community centers working with children, youth and their families. At the same time she began to train in Bachata with Ineseence Dance Company and in Salsa with Salsamania Dance Company. During her time with Salsamania, she competed from 2013-2015 at the World Latin Dance Cup. The Amatuer Salsa Team Division placed 2nd in 2014 and 3rd in 2015. She also competed under the Amateur Salsa Solo division and placed top 3.
In 2015, she met her sweetheart Jahaira Fajardo and competed in the Same Gender Latin Ladies Division and placed 1st. In 2018, Angelica & Jahaira returned to WLDC as pros and placed first in the Same Gender Bachata Couple Pro Cabaret division. In 2017, they participated and completed the Alex and Desiree Bachata Instructor Certification Course. They had the honor to direct the AnD WW Team SF-Season 1. In 2018, they opened up their own Dance Academy in Oakland, CA called In lak'ech Dance Academy. She is also one of the promoters of the Queer Latin Dance Festival.
