Hey friends!
Today is going to be a great chat! I feel like there is a lot of confusion and differing viewpoints around the whole eating breakfast topic. I’m here to share my take on it and why I find it important, especially, for Mothers with littles, nursing Mothers, and active women in general.
Before I jump into the topic for the day I catch you up on some life from the past week and share a quote that stood out to me from a book I was reading. If you want to skip right to the main content then skip ahead about 17 minutes.
I share why it doesn't make you a "healthier" person to skip breakfast all the time, why eating breakfast isn't actually the problem as to why people aren't achieving their health goals, how much protein you should be starting off your day with, some practical tips and food ideas, and much more! Tune in and share with anyone who you know could use some encouragement in this area. When we know better, we do better! I believe in you and your ability to start making these small changes to achieve BIG results and feel so much better in your day to day life.
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hello friends! On today’s episode we will be talking all things Spring garden! Once you get me talking about plants and gardening there’s no shutting me up. I have been growing in my knowledge and mastering this skill for over 10 years now. One thing I want you all to know is that, you CAN grow your own food. Whether it’s on a large scale or a small scale, for self sustainability or for an outdoor hobby, it doesn’t matter. If you want to try it, go for it. I will say, though, you must be willing to accept failure and grow from it. I share my tips for planting indoors, if you’d rather buy from a local nursery, things you can use but don’t need, what plants to start indoors vs direct sowing outside, what are cold hardy plants, and more. I know you’ll love this episode and is perfect for aspiring gardeners. Enjoy!
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

I am excited to share with you reflections, lessons I’ve learned, and habits I’ve continued in as I’ve just had another Birthday. I realize I said in the show that they are reflections from my 31st year and my husband ever so kindly corrected me that it would be my 32nd year (ha!). Either way, I look forward to connecting you and sharing some real life takeaways. I think Birthdays are a great time to reflect on the last year and bc it can offer you an opportunity to gain so much gratitude for all you’ve experienced, and what you can learn from the last year.
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hey Friend,
If you've been following along you know we've been in the thick of tax season but I am happy to say we have MADE IT to the end! I share all the highs and lows of the last 10ish weeks, how I kept up with my running, the ways I had to show up for my family and more. Every year looks different but I think each year we get stronger as a husband and wife and family.
I then share with you the things I implement into my every day that help me feel my best and allow me to show up with energy for my family and passions. I know how hard it can be to feel on top of things in terms of your health and wellness as a Mother, but I can say that with a little bit of consistency every day, what you do adds up and becomes habit every day. The things you choose now will make massive impact on your life down the road. I know you'll soak up some goodness today!
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hey Friend,
Do you ever struggle to get through trials in your life? Do you find it hard to find any purpose in the hardships that come your way? It can feel so defeating and "why me?" can't it? I am here to shed some light on this topic today and hopefully help open your heart and mind to a whole new perspective on these things that come your way. We all experience that at different tomes and in different ways but they can be used for good, for a purpose. You have to choose to allow the trials to break you down so that you can grow back that much stronger.
May you be encouraged today to move forward in whatever season of life you are in and be willing to let it shape and mold you not keep you complacent or feeling lowly. You have a life worth living to the fullest every day!
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hey Friend!
This episode it packed full with some current life updates, potty training success, and some topic roulette about some health and fitness things. If you struggle with getting in the kitchen, wondering what homesteading looks like and if any of it is for you then tune in to hear abut a cookbook and book by Jill Winger that I have been enjoying a lot of lately. She has so much practical advice, encouragement, and simple nourishing meals that I know you could learn to make.
I then chat with about things I have been implementing in my running journey so if you are a runner and love all things running talk, there's something here for you too. Heart Rate Training along with implementing speed workouts this time around after my 4th baby has been game changer.
Wrapping the episode up with practical tips for you to make your workout routine effective even with lighter to no weights. You can play around with different formatting, the tempo of your reps, and more. I know you'll find it helpful and I hope you start implementing it into your workout routines so you can start reaping the benefits of it.
Blessings of Health & Happiness,

Hi Friend!
So glad to have you back for this weeks episode. We are doing a little topic roulette and I am HERE FOR IT! I might do ones like this more often, I like the variety of topics we can cover in a short amount of time. I mean that's the goal right? Pack as much as you can in, in the least amount of time.
Well, today you are in for topics revolving around Motherhood and what I have been doing throughout my days as a SAHM (stay at home Mom), How red light therapy works and how it can benefit you, and why I bring my 4 kids grocery shopping with me.
I know you'll gain so much from today's episode! ENJOY
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hi there my friend!
Welcome to this week's episode! I doubted myself as a homeschool Mom but now as we are rounding out year 2 I have gained so much confidence. Whether you homeschool or not, or are even thinking about trying it on for size, I know this episode will be super eye opening and encouraging to you as I share some of my personal insights and experiences. I have found how much it has worked well for our family and my personality...I thought it had to look just like the school system (what I grew up in) and it is far from it. My kids are thriving! Not only are they learning but they get to apply so much of what they are learning and put it in to real life practice. My favorite part, though, is that my children get to grow up with each other every day, live life together, and learn together. Grab your coffee and tune in with me!
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hi Friend!
Today on Episode 80. we get real, we talk about deep things, and get vulnerable. We all go through hard seasons but it's all in how we view and handle them that makes all the difference. If you live in the Midwest or an area that tends to experience all the seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, then I think this will really make sense to you. Each one serves a purpose and just when we are done with a season the next one is right on the horizon. Much of that is like our life, and I hope I can encourage you in this episode to not lose hope in whatever season you are in. God doesn't waste what you are going through if you don't let the opportunity pass you by. I am in a heavy and thick season of motherhood and parenting (tax season for my husband) and I have to be willing to allow the shifts to happen rather than fight my way through it thinking it can look the same when in reality, it can't. I have felt God nudging me in a couple areas to slow down, and ruffling the feathers in my day to day routines/habits.
I pray this episode teaches you the importance of each season, how they build upon each other, and how to embrace them when they feel out of our control (which is majority of the time).
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hi Friend!
How many times have you finally gotten to that "something" that you had been putting off and wondered why you waited so long?? It wasn't that hard and it didn't take as long as you made it up in your mind to be. Cue *palm to face* What if you could stop living like that and be free from your excuses and fears?!
So often we get in our own way and make up all these stories and lies that keep us from going after what we want to achieve. This episode is meant to encourage you and hopefully light a fire within you to start making the necessary changes for growth. There's no point in living every day feeling guilty about what you didn't get to. That weight eventually becomes too much to bear and you have a breakdown. Let's avoid the breakdowns, the guilt, the stress, the excuses and learn to actually navigate your thoughts and start having breakthroughs by starting to take a small step in the right direction when you say "yes" to that thing.
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hi Friend!
Welcome to this week's episode where we chat about getting in the kitchen and making things from scratch. I know it can be a struggle to either find the time or gain up the courage to go after it but I promise you that the pay off is worth it. You will experience immense reward and satisfaction when you create your own homemade version of a store bought item. The BEST part, in my opinion, is that it's all ingredients you can pronounce and that you are in control of. You would be surprised how much junk is put in foods, even ones you wouldn't think, so if you can begin to take ownership and learn to make your own food your health will thank you for that.
Join me as I share my tips, list of foods you can begin swapping from store-bought to homemade, my journey over the years, and how to overcome the hurdles that might be stopping you from trying. I know you'll gain SO much from this episode.
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hi Friend,
This week's episode is pretty exciting as I am sharing all about our experience with processing our very own grass fed beef! My parent's own 19 acres of land and have been raising steers for a few years now and this time they raised one for us. They have become self sufficient in this area and have acquired much knowledge and resources to be able to be their own butcher.
We had split the cow with my sister in law and her family so they came and participated as well. It was a great time together and how perfect for us homeschooling families. We had 18 kids under the age of 18 there by the way! I am so thrilled to talk about our experience, how it all went down, our takeaways, how we involved so many different ages, and so much more. I know you'll enjoy this episode and find it very engaging.
Enjoy,
Gabby

FREE SAMPLE PACK OF LMNT WITH ANY ORDER!
Did you know that just drinking tons and tons of water isn’t actually hydrating your body? Are you someone who works out regularly or has a busy active lifestyle? We absorb electrolytes through food and drink, and excrete them through sweat, urine, and feces. If one side of this equation becomes skewed (from heavy sweating, diarrhea, etc), an electrolyte imbalance can result. Electrolyte deficiency in particular leads to symptoms like fatigue, headaches, and muscle cramps. Let me tell you about my FAVORITE electrolyte drink that has been a staple in my diet for over 2 years now, LMNT. It is my go to every day as an active Mom who is breastfeeding, exercising, and just keeping up with life in general. These little on the go packets are packed with sodium, magnesium, and potassium. I want to maximize my hydration when I consume water and this is one easy way I can do so. To learn more about it and snag your own FREE sample pack head to http://elementallabs.refr.cc/gabbyf

Hi friend,
Welcome to this weeks episode. Do you live in an area where the winter season has hit? Is it hard to show up more and more because of the dark cold months? You are not alone! I live in the Midwest and getting outside, seeing some sunshine can be hard to come by. Not to mention I stay home with my 4 children and we homeschool, so the days can fee long or I can feel trapped in endless chaos when we can't so easily get outside.
I want to send some encouragement and practical tips your way in today's episode. I have implemented these things into my life and have seen how much it has helped with how my days go and how I feel both physically and mentally. I want you to thrive and not sit back and let 3 or 4 months go by that leave you feeling lost and less than.
This time can be YOUR time just like any other season in life. May you be encouraged today and start taking action to make this winter your best one yet!
Blessings of health and happiness,
Gabby

Hi Friend,
I realized I had not done a final episode covering how the end of our garden season went, all the things we grew and harvested, how we preserved it all, and the journey along the way. I will be honest and say this was my first year where it felt harder to make time for the garden and get in there to truly just appreciate it. It felt more like a chore a times than a passion/hobby. Maybe it's just the transition to momming 4 little humans this year and my brains capacity to enter in to everything 100% isn't there. But aren't I the energizer bunny?? haha, for real though.
I did have some good takeaways and we were blessed with a wonderful bounty. Our chickens that we acquired in early July are now laying and it is SO exciting. I share some updates on them and how we are tending to them on the little land we have.
I know you'll find some encouragement and life lessons in this episode.
Enjoy!

Hi friend,
Bringing you a topic today that has been on my list and I am pretty excited about it. If you are someone who exercises, eats a fairly whole foods diet, breastfeeding, or just an active individual in general then you MUST be taking in electrolytes. I have always been one to use electrolytes but I didn't pay attention much to the sodium levels I was consuming. I was NOT getting enough and once I changed what I was using I wouldn't go back. Sodium is an electrolyte mineral that is required for our body to function at it's best and help our body communicate well beneath the surface. It has gotten a bad rap and unless you have medical conditions that would caution you otherwise to seek out professional advice, you probably aren't getting enough. Just drinking water alone will not hydrate you. Come and tune in to this episode to learn more and get yourself some high quality delicious electrolytes to up your wellness game and feel amazing throughout your days.
My FAVE brands are:
LMNT - I have one almost every day. Click this link to get a FREE sample pack with any order and get free shipping always.
Redmond Re-lyte - I will alternate with using this one too or take this one in addition to my LMNT later in the day if I need a pick me up. Use THIS link for $5 off a $35+ order!!
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby

Hi friend,
I am excited to share with you how my journey back to running after my 4th baby led me to a half marathon PR since 2017! Running has been a HUGE part of my life but it has had to start and stop many a time since we've decided to grow a family over the last 7 years. It is never going to be the same as it was pre baby, so I have had to learn how to move forward. In this episode I share what I focused on before returning back to running, how I eased my way back in to running, how I built back up my speed, and why I chose to race at 7 months post partum.
I know you'll find this story encouraging and inspiring. My hope for all Mamas is that they can safely return back to the fitness they love most. It takes work but it's worth it!
Blessings of Health and Happiness,
Gabby
