  • Are you tired of being disappointed by people? Anytime we totally depend on another human being, we put ourselves in a position to be hurt. We are all flawed human beings... Only God can be totally depended on. He alone deserves all our trust, reliance and dependence. Start making the habit today, to trust God and avoid being disappointed by people.   • Have you ever thought of life as being a journey? Jesus came to earth not only for us to have eternal life, but also so we could enjoy our lives now. A lot of times reaching our destination and our goal requires waiting... but actually sometimes the joy is in the journey. I urge you today to trust God's perfect timing, and enjoy where you are, on the way to where you're going!Today's Verses:~ John 10:10 AMP "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.   • Have you encountered any "storms" lately? Some storms of life surprise us when we don't expect them... However, we should be careful not to allow our wrong thinking to defeat us. God's Word teaches us that we can do all things through Christ who is our strength! (Philippians 4:13). ("Ability = Stability") None of us may know what a day may hold, be we can be confident that God will help us, and we will be strong and victorious!   • Have you noticed that the more positive you are, the stronger you feel? The enemy constantly tries to put negative thoughts into our minds, which causes us to be weak. However, you can choose today & everyday, to transform your mind, by thinking positively on purpose, and by believing and confessing God's promises (see below), so that you can feel STRONGER!   • What can you do when you need strength? Think of your body as being a "gas tank"... do you wait until you run out of gas before you fill up your gas tank? No, right? At times we all grow tired and feel that we can't go on. The weariness may be mental, emotional, or physical, BUT we can avoid it by learning to spend regular time with God & allowing Him to "refuel us" and refresh us!Today's Verses:~ Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ~ Psalm 91:1-2 AMP "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty (whose power no enemy can withstand). I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust (with great confidence and on whom I rely)!"~ Matthew 6:31-34 ESV "Therefore do not be anxious, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?"   • Are you going through a difficult situation or challenge today? Some days are like that, and they are times when you simply need to stand firm in faith and HOLD ON just a little longer... God knows exactly how much pressure you can take and how much struggle you can bear. He has promised He's always with us and will eventually deliver us.   • Have you ever wondered if God hears your prayers? God has especially designed prayer for us to communicate with him. We are invited to pray on every occasion, with all kinds of prayers, requests, praise and thanksgiving. Prayer is powerful, and we need to be confident that God hears and answers our prayers!

    Today's Verses:~ Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."~James 5:17 "Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years."~James 1:6-8 "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double -minded and unstable in all they do."~ Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."~ Mark 11:24 "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."~ Hebrews 4:16 "Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."~ I John 5:14-15 "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."

  • What are you trying to do that is frustrating you? There is never a time when God is not with us, but sometimes we forget about Him and try to do things in our own strength. We need to stop leaving Him out, and ask Him to take the lead in our situation to give us the grace and strength to follow Him! Today's Verses:- Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."- John 15:5b "...for without me you can do nothing."- 2 Corinthians 12:9b "...my grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness."- Ephesians 3:16 AMP "May He grand you out of the rich treasure of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the (Holy) Spirit (Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality.)"- Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

  • Are you managing your emotions, or are your emotions managing you? We can't always prevent the variety of factors that affect our emotions, but we're expected to control our behavior in light of them. (Did you know that the 3 most harmful negative emotions are: anger, guilt, and fear?) Make a decision today that you'll no longer allow your feelings to control you!(For further study on this subject read Joyce Meyer's book: "Living Beyond Your Feelings.")Today's Verses:- Proverbs 25:28 ESV "A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls."- 2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP "For we walk by faith (we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk) not by sight or appearance."- 2 Timothy 1:7 AMP "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but (He has given us a spirit) of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control."

  • Have you ever worried about anything? Worrying produces nothing but anxiety & tension in our souls...but prayer opens the door for God to work marvelous wonders, and for us to receive His help today, and every day of our life.

  • Do you always feel like you're always in a hurry and too busy? Although the world is moving at a faster pace all the time, God is not in a hurry. If we intend to move in step with God throughout our daily life, we will need to slow down... the more we rush, the more we miss what God wants to show us and say to us!

  • Do any of you have any challenges with doubt in your life? Doubt is the enemy of faith. Feed your faith with the promises of God, and your faith will stay stronger than any doubt you might have!Instead of having doubt, we need to be Decisive, Determined, Diligent, and Disciplined; and Wipe Out our Doubts!Today's Verses:- Mark 11:23 AMP "Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!" and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him."- John 14:6a ESV "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life..."- James 1:5-8 ESV "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.   • Is fear holding you back in life? We don't need to fear other people or what they might say about us or do to us. God is on our side and has given us His strength to face any fear!... So when fear knocks on your door, send FAITH to answer! FAITH overcomes FEAR!

  • Are you living life on purpose or are you merely drifting aimlessly through one day after another? We only have ONE life to live... so let's live it on purpose, for the purpose that God created us for, and for His Glory!Today's Verses:- Ephesians 5:15 AMP "Look carefully then how you walk!   • Have you ever asked yourself, "How can I know what God's will is?" Today we'll find out how God's "peace" can lead us so that we can know, and have a more fulfilling life!
