Day 31: Genesis 12:10-20 Trusting God’s Provision (2025)
Genesis 12:10-20 reveals what happens when fear drives our decisions instead of faith. Faced with famine, Abram takes matters into his own hands and goes to Egypt without seeking God’s direction. In his fear, he compromises by asking Sarai to say she is his sister, putting them both in a dangerous situation. But even in Abram’s failure, God remains faithful, stepping in to protect Sarai and redirect Abram back on course. This passage challenges us to trust God fully, even in uncertainty, and reminds us that His faithfulness is greater than our failures.
