Its our last Podcast of 2024! We discuss our Womanifesto for 2025 and look back on our chosen listened to, watched and read of 2024. Thank you so much for listening throughout the year ... we've had so many highs including publishing our first book together 'What We Know Now, which as we always say, would not exist without this podcast and you, our listeners. Jenny thinks we should probably all be going to therapy but unfortunately its impossible for so many due to the cost. Moving on to Chapter four ... Motherhood.Jenny talks about the reality of becoming a first time mum and what it really felt like at the time. Mairead talks about similar feelings and both agree that it is the steepest learning curve of their lives. In the book there is some advice for anyone new into the world of Motherhood. Mairead talks about the plans she always had for a fourth baby that unfortunately never happened and the IVF journey she went on. We both think that the answer to a perfect wedding is not listening to anyone else's opinion and just doing what you and your partner want ... but its hard! Mairead has had two weddings and hated both her dresses. Jenny went wedding dress shopping on her own and recommends it for a stress free way to say yes to that dress (or suit). What a night we had at our Book Launch at The Townhouse at Arnott's! We felt like we were in a podcast hug of love. Everyone came turned out in their snazzy gear from as far afield as Kerry, Limerick, Cavan, Waterford, Mayo, Kildare and Dublin.
