With the Toronto Raptors season in the books, it's time to revisit some of the bold predictions we made about what we'd see from the team during the 2024-25 season. In Episode 1853, Sean Woodley is joined by Joseph Casciaro (theScore) to review the preseason bold predictions they made at the outset of the Toronto Raptors 30-52 season. Some stuff they got extremely wrong -- including their belief in the Raptors starting lineup, the volume of threes Immanuel Quickley was gonna hit, and the overall quality of the Raptors' offense. Some other stuff they were a little closer on, including Sean's belief in the Raptors at a team that would live at the rim all year. Plus, a couple predictions that we have good sense of how they fared (incorrectly), but with some room to flip if things break right in the coming weeks.

Off the top, Sean digs into Flagg's impressive resume as a college player, and why he's absolutely what he's been sold to be over the past few years in the lead-up to his NBA Draft declaration on Monday. Off the top, Sean digs into Walter's season-long steady improvement, why he has the highest upside of any Raptors rookie, and why he could be a fixture in the Raptors' best lineups as early as next season. Next, Sean gets into Jamal Shead, who is a backup point guard's backup point guard, and has a real shot to be that for the long haul.
