Maine Ghost Hunters and a paranormal investigation team local to Maryland explore the "A" wing of the Henryton Sanitarium. It appears to be a patient dormitory area and is an area of the complex that is in better condition than most, with regard to appearances. TonyL of MaineGhostHunters points out an obvious safety hazard with the open elevator shaft on the 2nd floor. This video is more or less "Urban Exploration" because there isn't any active paranormal investigating going on. The 2 teams are working together to scope out the area and identify any safety issues in lieu of future investigations throughout this particular week at the Henryton.

A Maine Ghost Hunters public service announcement about the vandalism and destruction taking place at the Henryton Sanitarium in Marriottsville, Maryland. Our paranormal investigative team/hosts had given formal notice, and were granted permission to roam the grounds of the Henryton Sanitarium during daylight hours, and through the night of October 24/25, 2008. When authorities arrived on the scene in the late night/early morning hours of the 25th, they told us they have been directed to make regular and routine visits to the Henryton Sanitarium because of the ongoing destruction of the location. Underage drinking, liquor bottles and other litter being tossed about the place, and the undeniable increase of destruction and vandalism. If you like going to the Henryton Sanitarium, encourage people to stop destroying it "piece by piece", before it's too late.

This visit took place a few months after our first investigation on the grounds back in October. This video is primarily about comparing notes and experiences in this particular area of the complex to our October 2008 visit.

Maine Ghost Hunters and a paranormal investigation team local to Maryland start the Henryton Sanitarium investigation inside of the Administration building. We entered into the front of the building and went down the hallway to the left side. We weren't inside more than 10 minutes before we were interrupted by the first of *many* groups touring the compound on this night. There are 2 orb incidents in this video. The first is in the hallway right after Dave, of PRRS, says "Oh Yah". It's on the right wall and is extremely brief. The next orb incident appears on the whiteboard in the room that is recorded. I quickly did a double take to see if the orb was caused by the camera, or if I could reproduce it myself, and then I tried to record "who" was standing "where" in the hallway outside of this room.

Maine Ghost Hunters was invited by a local Maryland paranormal investigation team to make a pre-investigation run in the lower level of the Henryton Main hospital building. This is more of an Urban Exploration video at this point, simply because the objective of the two teams is to get the lay of the land before returning later on in the evening for a night-time paranormal investigation. Maine Ghost Hunters, and a paranormal investigation team local to Maryland, explore the Abandoned Henryton Sanitarium in Marriottsville, Maryland. It turned out to be a much busier environment than we had intended, but all worked out in the end. The police showed up and dismissed all those people who did not have permission to be on the property, and we got back to business for the little bit of time we had remaining. Here's a video of our stop-and-go action and all the groups and people we ran into. Leave it to Jenny, of PRRS, to make lemonade out of lemons!
