Hello Mama, and welcome to episode EIGHT of Mumstoppable!
This week I’ve had a couple of new clients start their coaching journeys with me, and it’s given me an opportunity to reflect on the most common problems we face as mums. The interesting thing is, most - if not all - of my clients come to me struggling with the idea of who they are and what they want from life. It’s like motherhood has completely swallowed the individual, and in the process we almost forget what life was like before and can’t seem to figure out who we are - outside of that “mum” label. So I want to focus today on that journey of rediscovery. Of really looking at you, beyond the mum mask.
In #coachingcorner we look at values - what they are, why they’re important in the context of knowing who you are, and how you can figure out what yours are.
And today’s #coachingchallenge is an oldie but a goodie… We talk about the guilt of spending time doing things just for fun, and I challenge you to do just that. Are you up for the challenge?!

Hello Mama, and welcome to episode SEVEN of Mumstoppable!
Now, along with Blue Monday, January brings with it another really important date, and that’s “Parent Mental Health Day”, which falls this week on 27th January. Each year the day has a theme, and this year’s theme is “positive connection”.
When we overlay the findings of Peanut’s “The State of Invisibility” report, which states that a staggering 80% of UK mums have experiences loneliness/isolation, and 86% of UK mums wish people would check in on how they were more frequently, the topic of today’s show became clear to me…
And that’s why today’s #coachingcorner sees us discussing our villages, our network, our support systems. And don’t worry if you feel like you don’t have a village! Because I’m going to talk you through how to work out who is in your village, and also how to work out where you need to recruit new villagers!
Today’s #coachingchallenge is yet again a lovely one you can practice with your kids. Ultimately it’s about checking in on your mum friends, but also I want you to start using the 3 Hs when you offer support to people: HEARD, HUG or HELP. Listen in for more!

Hello Mama, and welcome to episode SIX of Mumstoppable!
Today’s episode is coming to you on “Blue Monday”, which is said to be the most depressing day of the year. Add on top of that, Peanut’s finding that 95% of UK mums believe that THE INVISIBILITY OF MATERNAL EXPERIENCES HAS AN IMPACT ON WOMEN’S MENTAL HEALTH & OVERALL WELLBEING and the state of play for mums today is pretty damn depressing… And for that reason I’m going to be a bit more gentle with you all today.
This week’s #coachingcorner, sees us looking at needs. What are they? Do we really need to fill our cups before we can function? Do we all have the same needs? And how do we identify them? And once we know what we are, how do we make ourselves accountable to fulfilling them on a regular basis to ensure we are operating at a good level of energy? All will be revealed!
This week’s Coaching Challenge is another really fun activity you can do with your kids. It’s all about bringing positive energy to our lives (on Blue Monday and beyond!) with a really fun Gratitude Game. Give it a go and see how you get on!

Did you know that, according to a recent survey conducted by the awesome Peanut app, 93% of UK mums say that since becoming a mother, their pre-baby identity has felt minimised to one identity - Mum.
With that in mind, today we’re going to think about YOU, Mama.
In this week’s #CoachingCorner, we will be doing some proper self-coaching (eek!) as we look back at 2023. We will then get clear on what you want 2024 to look like for you, and how you can get there.

Hi Mama! Welcome to episode FOUR of Mumstoppable! This week we are hitting the pause button after a busy few weeks, as we turn Christmas presents into Christmas presence.
Did you know that, according to a recent survey conducted by the awesome Peanut app, 66% of UK mums say lack of empathy and understanding contributes to feelings of invisibility. They frequently feel dismissed, invalidated or that their struggles are overlooked. And moving deeper into this, they yearn for acknowledgement.
With that in mind, and knowing what a tough few weeks you’ve had, today is all about me cheering you on and reminding you what a fabulous job you’re doing.
In this week’s Coaching Corner, I give you the gift of a gorgeous self-love meditation which will leave you feeling grateful for everything you’ve accomplished in the lead up to Christmas, as well as feeling more confident and ready to move forwards. And this week’s Coaching Challenge is for you to BE KIND TO YOURSELF, using the mediation to replenish your energy ahead of the New Year.

Hi Mama! Welcome to episode THREE of Mumstoppable! This week I’ve gone full Christmas on you all, as I ask the question “why is Christmas so overwhelming?”
Did you know that, according to a recent survey conducted by the awesome Peanut app, 94% of UK mums feel expected to self-sacrifice and put themselves last? As if that’s not shocking enough, when asked further about expectations of things like family labour (which contribute to this idea of self-sacrifice and invisibility), UK mums are saying the pressure is coming from a lot of different angles from family and friendship circles, to strangers and neighbours.
In this week’s Coaching Corner, we look at how you can set boundaries, even where they haven’t existed before, I’ll also set you a really lovely Coaching Challenge for you to work on this week, which will have you finding your voice and feeling Mumstoppable in the lead up to Christmas!
