On July 1, 1980, an unknown woman abducted seventeen-day-old infant Kevin Verville Jr. That was nearly forty-six years ago. He's been missing all those years. Investigators believe he's still out there, likely raised by the woman who abducted him.
Today, we are speaking to Angeline Hartmann, the director of communications for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She's asking the Murder Sheet People for help in spreading the word about Kevin's case.

On April 8, 2026, serial killer Rex Heuermann pled guilty. He murdered Melissa Barthelemy, Maureen BrainardâBarnes, Megan Waterman, Amber Lynn Costello, Sandra Costilla, Valerie Mack, and Jessica Taylor. He also admitted to murdering Karen Vergata.

On March 19, 2004, seventeenâyearâold Brianna Maitland clocked out of her job as a dishwasher at the Black Lantern Inn in Montgomery, Vermont. She drove off into the night. She never made it home.
Her car was found butted up against an abandoned building known as the Old Dutchburn place along Route 118. Personal belongings were scattered around it. That was over 22 years ago.

On October 3, 1994, 12-year-old Josette Wright vanished from Carmel, New York. Months later, hunters discovered her remains. She had been murdered.
Local drug dealers, Anthony DiPippo and Andrew Krivak, were arrested and charged with Josette's rape and murder. They were first convicted in 1997. Between them, they went through five trials before being acquitted of the crime in 2016 and 2023, respectively.
Now, the Lava for Good podcast Bone Valleyâin partnership with Rolling Stone magazineâ is covering Josette's case in its fifth season. Editor and writer Paul Solotaroff is the writer and host behind the season. In those episodes, Bone Valley makes numerous claims.

Local drug dealers, Anthony DiPippo and Andrew Krivak, were arrested and charged with Josette's rape and murder. They were first convicted in 1997. Between them, they went through five trials before being acquitted of the crime in 2016 and 2023, respectively.
Now, the Lava for Good podcast Bone Valleyâin partnership with Rolling Stone magazineâ is covering Josette's case in its fifth season. Editor and writer Paul Solotaroff is the writer and host behind the season. In those episodes, Bone Valley makes numerous claims.
In this episode, we will talk to Josette's eldest sister, Shelley. She will address many of those claims made in Bone Valley, and share her experience losing her youngest sister in such a violent, sudden manner.

In 2023, a jury convicted former attorney Alex Murdaugh of the murders of his wife Maggie and his son Paul at the family's Moselle hunting lodge in Colleton County, South Carolina. In 2026, Murdaugh had his convictions overturned by the South Carolina Supreme Court over jury tampering concerns. Now, Murdaugh is suing Becky Hill, the former clerk of court accused of swaying jurors in the case.

On March 24, 2025, Dr. Gerhardt Konig attacked his wife Arielle on the Pali Puka Trail on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. He was convicted of attempted manslaughter on April 8, 2026.
Now, his defense team has filed for a new trial based on comments and potential leaks from the jury.
