In the first episode if our podcasts 5th year we interviewed Sal Mastrocola of the band Gatto Black. We talked to Sal about all things Gatto Black including how it started how Mike Hansen (Hotel Etiquette) got in the mix and what the band has planned for the future. RIP Rob Maedl
On this episode of the podcast (which is our 4th Anniversary episode) we were joined by Daryl Taberski, EVR and Jeffers and we did a Black Flag song draft. We picked our favorite Black Flag songs draft style. We also talked about why we love these songs. On the episode we also talked about Rob Maedl of Fadeaway who recently passed away. As a tribute to Rob we included "Blindsight" by Fadeaway and "Paper Wings" by Rise Against.

On the latest episode of NCS Chris and Mark interviewed Liam fraom the band Autoignition. Liam is the singer and main songwriter of the band Autognition a really cool band reminiscent of Saves The Day, Lifetime and other similar bands. They recently put out a full length called "This Is Moving Forward" and recently did a run of shows with Spaced. In this episode we interviewed Bernie Kugel of the bands Mystic Eyes and The Good. Bernie comes from a time before Mark and Chris so we enlisted Eric Van Rysdam (Home of The Hits and many bands) to help us do the interview. Bernie is truly the godfather of the Buffalo punk scene in the 70's and 80's . Through his bands and his fanzine "Big Star Fanzine" Bernie was a large contributor to the punk scene. Bernie is also a member of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. Check this out! this was a cool interview from a generation that we don't normally get to talk to. Enjoy

Adam (vocals)and Rob (guitar) are long time veterans of the Western NY hardcore/punk/underground music scene and they have recently come together to to form the band Into The Light. Into The Light (in my opinion) has a really cool Quicksand / Deftones feel so if you like those bands or these two you should definitely check out Into The Light.

When we learned that Greg Soden , one of the guys who does "Unscripted Moments: A Podcast About Propagandhi" lives in Buffalo we had to have him on the podcast. Unscripted Moments is a podcast in which the hosts talk about a different Propagandhi track on each episode. Propagandhi is one of co host Marks a favorite bands and he has actually appeared on Unscripted Moments. We talked to Greg about how how he ended up in buffalo , his history of liking underground music and of course his podcast. It was fun and Greg was a great conversation.
