They debate if it's gone too far and if it's led to privileged teams having an unfair advantage while the rest of the world are trying to catch up. Mona a Sligo native who despite growing up without world class facilities, has still managed to come out as one of the worlds best swimmers. Mona is the tenth Irish woman to win an Olympic medal and won Ireland's first medal at Paris 2024, a Bronze in the 100m breaststroke.
