Hydrolyzed collagen and vegan collagen boosters are both substances that can be taken to support beauty from within and help promote the health and appearance of skin, hair, nails, and joints.Skin conditions can be influenced and even reversed by eating the right foods. Hydrolyzed collagen is the most known ingredient that can help us fight unwanted skin conditions, such as wrinkles, skin elasticity, and hydration. This is an upcycled ingredient, meaning it is a byproduct of the meat industry. In other words, it would be discarded if not used for collagen peptides or by some other industry. Therefore regardless of its animal origin, there is still an ethical component to it. Nevertheless, marketers are still trying to deliver the vegan collagen alternative. There is no such thing as vegan collagen, but alternatives exist in the form of vegan collagen boosters, which have been gaining popularity. In this episode, Uroš, the CIO at TOSLA Nutricosmetics, presents the key differences between the mentioned two and explains how the collagen-based company reacts to this emerging vegan trend. Welcome back to another episode of the Nutricosmetics 2030 Show, where Uroš and Matic discussed the so-called “Premium Paradox”, where most products nowadays are labeled as premium or some other buzzword trying to separate them from the competition. They discuss what could premium really represent, from luxury, high pricing, and sustainability claims as a big part of product value propositions. They make the case for how simple, good products are the real premium products that do their job without all the blows and whistles that marketing teams invented to compete in a fiercely competitive marketplace. Enjoy!
