Then the couple clash over the motives of Marlon. Kelvin is disappointed that he planted ketamine on Dylan, whereas Liz thinks he’s right to do anything to help April.
Kelvin also feels the Tracy and Eric money stealing storyline is a great example of karma catching up with wheeler dealer with Eric Pollard.
In the second half of the show Kelvin and Liz chat with soap legend Claire Sweeney. She reveals all about how the poisoning ‘Kenny’ storyline came about, and what she has been able to inject into the storyline.
Claire goes on to reveal how soap acting has changed since her Brookside days, revealing the very different way stunt and intimacy scenes were handled! So how did Claire and Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald) approach their recent on screen snog?!
Plus we get the behind-the-scenes scoop on how far Claire was prepared to go to rehearse her first ever Coronation Street lines with Dame Maureen Lipman. Spoiler: It involves a 6 hour car journey!
