Initially introduced as a tool to kick the smoking habit, it's morphed into a cultural phenomenon since its inception in 2003. Ingredients like nicotine, propylene glycol, and vegetable glycerin may seem harmless, but they can wreak havoc on your oral health. From gum disease to weakened enamel and a higher risk of cavities, the impact is real. But is vaping truly a safer alternative to smoking? While some government findings lean that way, the consensus is cautious, calling for more research and standardized testing.
