After my visit to the Confex in the Excel London in March 2022, I recorded this impromptu episode, because I had had such a great time and made so many new connections.
The talks and keynotes were great and I feel like I am ready for the events season for 2022! Especially where I am planning to go to trade shows like the Eisenwarenmesse (International Hardware Show) in Cologne, the BondExpo in Stuttgart, the Automechanika in Frankfurt and the UK Construction Week in UK.
Connecting with new suppliers and solution-driven ideas will enable me to apply these to the stand planning for my clients, which in turn will increase their visitor numbers and engagement.
I met brilliant companies like Lick Me I'm Delicious (edible balloons), Priority (sustainable stand building and printing), SmartPicsUK (photo booths), Giant iTab (interactive screens), Reattendance (event platform), OneTrust (consent management platform), Allwag (sustainable merchandise).
You can also hear a short clip from James Snee at Reattendance, who talks about their software which offers comprehensive event management. It is an amazing platform for all your events - in person, online or hybrid!
The next Confex is planned to be held on the 1st and 2nd of March 2023. Pre-register now and save the date! https://www.international-confex.com/
See you there :)

Exhibiting comes with a big price tag. Booking the space itself can make a big dent in your marketing budget, depending on the show you are planning to exhibit at and the size of your booth.
Then the stand itself. Most marketers spend around 40% of their available event budget on the stand. Once you add travel, accommodation, graphic design, print, furniture hire, merchandise and other essential things, there isn’t much left of your budget – even if it looked quite healthy to begin with.
But there are some simple ways to make a saving. Every small amount counts, so here are some tips on how you can make savings for your next exhibition right now. Listen to this podcast and be able to present a well-organised budget (with costs savings!) for your next exhibition stand!

So, why do companies exhibit at trade shows? Why attend a trade show? What is the purpose of a show? Why should you invest time, money, and resources to exhibit?
