For the last three years the planet has been operating under a massive veil of fear. Which, over time I've seen it mutated into anxiety, procrastination, distrust, lack of worthiness and so much more.
How do we move out of a state of fear and into fearlessness? How do we flip our own script forever or even for a minute?
In this solo episode, Tina talks about fear, how and where it’s showing up (surprise it’s also in the colors you choose to wear) and three unique approaches she uses to help shift her own mindset from fear to fearlessness.
Those close to Tina know that her kids have severe food allergies. At eight and almost six, they’ve eaten at a restaurant once. Adam and Tina cook nearly every meal from scratch for their kids (which is where their blog - www.fromscratchwithlovecooking.com came from).
Fight or flight is a state of mind and body that Tina knows well (all too well). And while she’s not a medical professional, the tools she uses to shift perspectives, can help move you into a balanced state of mind and body.

If you’re the deep into season two, you know we love a good personality test, especially once that helps us understand how we interpret the world and mange our emotions.
In this episode, Ali and Tina speak with worldly enneagram expert and author, Rosemay Hurwitz about how this thousand year old practice helps you discover which of the 9 personality types best suits you. Most importantly, it helps you understand who you are meant to be.
Drawn from philosophy components derived from ancient Greek philosophy, Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Christianity, and mystical Judaism, the enneagram test helps you understand your behavioral patterns, how you respond to people and situations and how to know when you’re in a state of flow vs imbalanced.
Tina and Ali both took the test, had a session with Rosemary and were floored with their results.
Also during this episode, we unexpectedly learn how Rosemary started her spiritual journey. It’s a profound story with a beautiful ending and for those of you who are wondering what’s next in your life, we think you’ll the universe is drawing you in to hear her message.

She’s a practitioner at the world-renowned Infinity Foundation in the Chicago suburbs, a globally sought-after speaker, intuitive / angel card reader and is deeply dedicated to helping people deepen their self-awareness, compassion and remember their connection to Spirit.
Initially receiving a communications degree from Marquette University, Rosemary, worked in Human Resources and Corporate Recruiting/Career Coaching. As her youngest entered kindergarten, Rosemary answered a calling to her own deeper work.

How to build trust with your body (tip -it comes to listening to it!) and how to truly nourish itWhat is a body care practice (fact: IYKYK, we all need a body care practice - this was a new one for Tina and Ali).Spirituality’s role within body care and wellnessFood allergies, gut health, intuitive wisdom + fight or flightHow we take care of our body as we ageAlso, Kate walks us though an exercise she did to help improve her breathing which actually changed the shape of her face (see here for the results!)About Kate

Welcome to 2023! We're kicking off with a juicy episode focused on self-discovery.
What if you could take a 'personality test' that helps you deeply understand your habits, quirks, leadership style, decision-making approach and the gifts you are meant to share with the world? What if there was a way to deeply understand your authentic self, uncover your passion, purpose and ultimately your why?'
Well, then this episode with Chicago-based Human Design expert Karen Galway is right up your alley.

Why Human Design can benefit young adults (and their parents!)About Karen Galway

He became increasingly focused on the drivers of climate breakdown and ecological collapse, particularly with the fundamental interdependence between human well-being (global health) and ecosystem integrity (global conservation). He followed his vision for change into the new field of planetary health, which he views as an antidote to a century’s practice of siloed thinking.
Prior to joining HIH, he spent 13+ years in leadership roles with Doctors Without Borders, conducting global humanitarian programming and advocacy. Canada. Jonathan holds an MS in Biology and Ecology and an MA in Politics and International Security.

Today we would like to discuss the power that lies in women’s circles, in community healing and group therapy. Chicago area-based Counselor Candice Sherry Collins from Credence Counseling Services says that ‘pain shared is easier carried,” and with that wink of wisdom we dive into collaborative healing, building soulful friendships and the nurturing our own identities.
EPISODE THEMES
In this episode, Ali gets vulnerable about her own journey - her divorce, her mom’s breast cancer diagnosis (and PS, Ali’s mom is HEALTHY now!), single life, job changes, meeting her husband and becoming a stepmom - and how group healing helped her come into her own. Tina discusses her ‘breast friends’ (you have to tune in to know what the heck that even means!), losing her identity when she first became a mom, finding friends at work and as an adult. We close out the episode discussing self-care. Candice even broke down our least favorite emotion - GUILT!***If you loved listening to our podcast as much as we loved creating it, please give us five stars and leave us a review. ***
