Brownstone is making housing affordable with its pods, a new form of housing on par with the single-family home, hotels, Airbnbs, and more. Each pod, which can house a single occupant, is available to tenants through a monthly rent. Now, the company is making pods available for direct purchase by businesses like homeless shelters. He went on to drop out of college to found a startup and go through startup accelerator Y Combinator, before becoming Executive Director at CodeDay. The waste in the fashion industry is huge and e-commerce is only perpetuating this tremendous problem. Aura rethinks the online approach to clothing by creating a more sustainable model, placing a product's story at the center of attention rather than the brand.

As the capabilities of software advance, the methods to learn languages have changed and will change. Some game changers have already been created, for example Duolingo, which recently had its IPO. Ara Ghougassian, co-founder of Fluent, discusses how Fluent seeks to change how people think of language learning by integrating it in their daily activities: learning while listening to an audiobook, surfing the web, watching a Netflix show, or listening to a curated Spotify playlist. Fluent will be the most focused language learning company in this vertical problem space, opting to concentrate on the language learning industry over expanding into multiple EdTech challenges.
