Every year for the last decade, June has begun with a flurry of progressive propaganda as corporations, nonprofits, and government organizations kicked off their Pride Month celebrations. Social media accounts draped their logos in the colors of the rainbow, employees sat through monotonous presentations on the importance of inclusion, and every public space was jampacked with the iconography of the new state religion. But this year, the Pride Month rollout has been remarkably muted, with some of the loudest corporate proponents suddenly dropping the celebration entirely. Conservatives finally embraced the culture war, showing a willingness to address the issue head-on and wield power in pursuit of their values. Now that the Right has finally built cultural momentum, a new crowd of subversive naysayers has risen to lecture conservatives about the dangers of winning, and it is our duty to ignore them.

Most conservatives like to point out that the United States is a republic, not a democracy, but they rarely ask what the difference truly is. Benjamin Franklin stated that the U.S. would remain a republic only if we fought to keep it that way, meaning the system could change over time if the population was not vigilant. We will be exploring the classical definition of a republic, determining whether the U.S. currently fits the description, and talking about how we can return to republican government if we have indeed lost it.

Classical liberalism was a real political tradition — one that helped shape the American founding. It deserves serious treatment. Watching it get paraded around by people who reject its core values is exhausting. If Locke or Adams saw progressive atheists wearing classical liberalism like a skin suit, they’d spin in their graves. The secular liberalism of the 1990s and early 2000s is not classical liberalism. It isn’t even an ally of conservatism. The non-woke left served as useful co-belligerents against the radical fringe, but they were never true allies — and they should never be allowed to lead the conservative movement.

A recent New York Times report revealed that the Democratic Party is marshaling its donor class in an effort to return to cultural dominance. The popular progressive narrative after the 2024 election has been that Kamala Harris did not lose because she was a uniquely unlikeable candidate with deeply unpopular positions, but because Joe Rogan had a podcast. Leftists' obsession with the role of the podcast sphere in the last election has led them to consider 26 different projects that would cost tens of millions of dollars to buy back the cultural influence they lost. The problem with that strategy is that progressives cannot buy the one thing they lack most: authenticity.

After years of insisting that the United States welcome every refugee from around the world, progressives have finally found one group of immigrants they do not approve of: white South African farmers. In South Africa, the government has explicitly anti-white laws, farmers are regularly murdered, and major political leaders lead songs about killing white citizens. The Left's focus on crude racial politics has made everyone understandably weary of identity, but identity does not magically disappear. As a response, some are now pushing for the forced elimination of identity even up to the level of the nation, singling our nationalism itself as the enemy. Under Joseph Stalin the USSR also recognize the need to abolish tribal and even national identities in the service of international community. On Friday, Germany’s domestic intelligence agency officially labeled Alternative for Germany — the country’s most popular conservative party — as a “right-wing extremist” organization. The nationalist party surged to second place in February’s federal election, winning 20.8% of the vote. This new designation grants the ruling government expanded powers to surveil Alternative for Germany leaders and supporters and sets the stage for an outright ban. Germany has now joined a growing list of Western governments that delay elections, disqualify candidates, and ban opposition parties — all in the name of defending democracy.

The term "woke Right" has been pushed in an effort by disaffected liberals to control the ways that conservatives and right-wingers think about politics. Recently, James Lindsay and Jordan Peterson filmed a baffling discussion in which they attempted to define the term but ended up raising more questions then answers. Lindsay then immediately began attacking Peterson's fellow Daily Wire host Matt Walsh as "woke Right," creating a huge backlash. We'll be reviewing clips from the discussion to better understand the nature of the arguments, or lack thereof.

In the early 1900s, Edmund Husserl founded a new school of philosophy called phenomenology. This new approach attempted to discard previous philosophical assumptions and explore the direct conscious experience of the human being. Husserl's student, Martin Heidegger, furthered the project with his book "Being and Time," which had a massive impact on both left- and right-wing philosophy while influencing many other fields such as medicine and business.
