In this episode, we discuss the topic of Creating Space for Conversations about Mental Health, which talks about how difficult it can be for those to speak up about their mental health, and why it is important to understand how to create that safe space for people to talk about it. We also offer tips on how to create your own space for your mental health. We acknowledge the way people may not feel like they can help someone because they’ve never been in their situation, may be scared to say the wrong things or may feel pressure in not knowing all the solutions, but we talk about different ways you can still approach or learn how to help those around you. We include our own perspectives and experiences with what does or does not help us when it comes to creating space for others or for ourselves.
