I was going to release this full episode, but I decided against it because of the sensitive content. It was a four-hour episode that I shortened to create a trailer focusing on the importance of fathers being present and active in their children's lives. As parents, we need to be very mindful of how we treat our kids. Many of us (grown) still deal with childhood trauma and mental issues because of how we were raised. I hope this trailer serves as a reminder to be kind and understanding to your children, even when they frustrate you. As a parent, itâs important to be the bigger person and guide them, even when itâs tough.

In this episode, I spoke with Taron, a father of two, who shared his unfortunate story of a toxic relationship with his daughter’s mother. They had been together for a little over two years, and Taron had a gut feeling that she was being unfaithful. He followed his instincts and came home early one day to find his bedroom door barricaded. When he pushed the door open, he discovered his girlfriend with another man.

Robert and Dorsheema McMath, founders of @whosdadeadbeat , shared their experience with the family court system.
Robert’s ex-partner became upset when she found out that Robert and his high school sweetheart, Dorshesma, had rekindled their relationship and later got married long after his previous relationship ended. They share two young children together. When Robert’s ex learned about his new relationship, she took their children and relocated 1,000 miles away without informing the court or Robert.
Robert and Dorsheema worked tirelessly day and night to regain custody of their children.

According to the CDC, about 1 in 3 men have experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime. But because of the stereotype, men are usually afraid to speak up and ask for help. This includes dealing with the family court system. Father X is one of the few men who have gone through hell, but kept his head up, won primary custody of his son, and now helps other fathers (men) overcome the family court system and an abusive ex.
