Boundaries are not walls. We are able to be one with them. Community with them, but have own space and property. Property lines need to be permeable enough to allow passing and strong enough to keep out danger.

Forever Family relationships are incredibly close and trusted friends. Theyâre the ones we pour our hearts out to when we need to vent, knowing they will not judge us or condemn us. They stop everything to rescue us, bringing our favorite junk food and picking the perfect movie.
When we need Jesus in skin, they are there at the drop of a hat. They hit their knees and cry out to Jesus for us. They donât just say, âIâll pray for you.â They start before we finish our request.

When Iâve talked with people about kindred spirits, they say they donât think there are many. Sometimes we canât get out of our own way because we donât know things can be different. Family experiences are the norm. Past relationships have broken us.
âKindred spirits are not so scarce as I used to think. It's splendid to find out there are so many of them in the world.â L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
Kindred Spirits get us. They understand what matters and respect our beliefs. We realize what makes them tick. We share a mutual respect for what breaks each otherâs hearts. We encourage one another to soar where God has placed us.

How do we recognize the gift of opportunities of impact in our social circle?
Social Circles are a smaller group than Accidental Acquaintances. Growth in these relationships occurs when there is a deeper desire to know the person. A connection of interest and acceptance is felt between them.
A motley crew of people.

What is your hesitation in being more generous?
God is the most generous in dispensing love. As we have gone through the first eight of the Nine Core Qualities, weâve directed our Christ-like love to others. The core quality, generous, begins with Godâs overwhelming, never-ending love.
Generous love is giving more affection and tenderness than is necessary.

We can impact our community when we genuinely connect with others.
The more we connect with Jesus, the easier it is to make an impact.
In this episode, Billie shares Romans 12:10 and four practical things we can do to impact genuine connections.

After a recent phone call with a friend, I reflected on how I handled things with my kids during their Senior Year of High School and beyond.
I confess I didn't do it well at times.
But God...
He directed their steps.
In this episode, I share how I didn't think the direction of my son's college decisions was setting him up for success. But looking back, each step has taken him exactly where God intended!
